“This place is a landmark if you ask me. It's inside the Penobscot Building to start, which is worth a 10 minute walk through. l digress. From the amazing host and waitstaff to the owner who is regularly in house and working hard, to the phenomenal food they serve it's one of the best places to eat in an ocean of good restaurants. Watch for daily specials like Fish and Chips and the Greek Gyro. Gyros are why I go, but the patstitso, kebobs, fish, salads, and so much more are on point! If you like fast service for carry out this place is perfect. Parking can be tricky so I hit a spot on Fort Street a block or so away, or one of the lots. Go today!!!“

“I've occasionally ordered take-out from this place and on my last visit decided to dine in. The dining area was spacious and busy with othwrs also enjoying their meals.

The food was fresh and tasty as expected. The hostess and waitress were attentive amd served well. Some argument erupted in the kitchen that was loud and distracting. The hostess continued as if it wasn't happening. The diners and waitress certainly noticed.“

“In my life I never got to have the deli experience, meaning getting to go out for lunch or dinner. We grew up that we ate at home,and you ate what was prepared. Or you didn’t eat. Imagine my surprise first time at a Deli wow! To this day when I go in, what to get it all looks good. My mouth actually starts watering when I walk in. “I've been coming here for a few years now and it's still one of my favorite spots in the area. We moved farther away a few years ago but still make an effort to visit when we can because it's worth a slight drive!

Over the years and even with inflation, the prices are still very reasonable compared to other similar restaurants in the area. The food is consistently good and fresh. We've been to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area but this one is still the best for pho. The broth is so rich and satisfying. I've never once gotten mushy noodles that taste like they've been sitting too long. Even after the pandemic, which caused a quality decrease in many places I used to like, didn't seem to impact the food here. Never had a problem with service either; it's just a pleasant, problem-free meal every time we come.

We've brought many of our family and friends here for a meal and they've always had a good time too. I hope this place stays open a long time!“

“Tucked into a little strip just off Woodward with office buildings all around, this suburban deli is probably the antithesis of a NYC deli: quiet, relaxing, more like a coffee house with food instead. They do a heck of a takeaway business as I found out while I ate in.An avuncular gentleman greeted me well before I made it to the counter. Great sense of humor, too. He joked with the other staff when not waiting on customers.I ordered a full Chicken Greek grilled wrap. Everything is available as full or half. Full wraps are $13, halves are $10. The other sandwiches are similarly priced.Only had to wait a couple minutes for my sandwich to be made.It was mildly flavored, the Greek/Italian dressing & feta really the only flavor involved. No olives, lots of iceberg and some tomato accompanied the chicken, as well. A touch dry, too.Plenty of seating if you want to stay. They even have electrical outlets under benches so you can recharge your electronic leash, I mean, cell phone.There is a restroom but you have to go into the kitchen to get there.

Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, quesadillas and sandwiches can all be had without meat.

Parking: 22 spaces in front.

Kid-friendliness: Unless your kids are feral beasts, they'll be fine here.

“The owner was our cook waiter and everything all in one! Tell u what he is the NICEST guy have ever met in my life. My coworkers and I all received completely gifts to take back to work w us. I highly recommend trying it. It was my first time ever trying any food other than the normal. Go say high to the guy and male his amd your day“

“I am really only leaving this review to emphasize how great Maddi is. I think that's how her name was spelled on her name tag. She was our server at the bar and was an absolute delight. Very friendly, very professional; honestly made us forget there was a delay and a bit of an ordeal for us to be seated which is why we decided on the bar, turned out to be the best inconvenience ever. And I say that just to further accentuate how much her amazing service was appreciated. We did the never ending pasta and she made sure she checked back on us just the right amount; kudos to those preparing the food too! Spaghetti and spicy 3 meat sauce with meatballs was really great and the fettuccini alfredo suprisingly with italian sausage my mom loved. And of course the salad is ALWAYS great.
