I called Wednesday right before they closed - My 5 year old requested a unicorn cake for her birthday- I sent over a picture and they had it ready for Saturday morning! “Delicious shawarma bowls: chicken, beef, falafel or gyro. I haven't tried the cream chop but I know those are good too. The pink Greek dressing can't found everywhere so I like that they have it here. Food is always fresh and they run a very neat and clean kitchen and grill. The staff is always courteous. “I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This place has become my go-to for Sunday delivery orders. Their pizza is fantastic, and many of the other menu items are also great. The order's have always been correct and timely. Occasionally, the same pizza may vary from week to week (possibly different cooks), but has never been a major issue and I've enjoyed the food every time.“

“This is my favorite restaurant. This was my go to spot when I lived in the area and was pretty bummed when I moved away. A year later I found myself back in town and the food is still excellent, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and cozy.“

“Very standard vegetarian bowl. Disappointing size for $16. It's exactly what you expect, nothing more and nothing less. The worker was efficient. Definitely more of a take out place but I could imagine it's busier around lunch time.
