Went in Saturday for the lunch special and got the $15 sushi/sashimi combo, ( such a good price!! ) didn't expect it to come out on a little bridge and it totally made my day. Not to mention, the selection of sashimi was absolutely delicious and extremely fresh. I wish more people would give this place a try!!”

“Had a great dinner tonight. Scallops were delicious! Michelle our server was doing double duty as a bartender and server. We never would have know if she didn’t tell us! Best service ever. Never felt like we were waiting even with appetizers and dessert. Highly recommend stopping in !”

“Went there for company Xmas party, & this was my 1st time. The food was amazing.. I had the lobster Mac & cheese.. had some left over & heated up the next day. It was still so creamy. Fellow coworkers had the same & a few of the burger options. My hubby had the sirloin, which was cooked to perfection. Everything was great.. My only issue, not about the food, was we were in a room but the layout was not cohesive for trying to talk to people across the room. We will be coming back.”

“My daughters and I had a stay at the Grand Haven Holiday Inn for 5 days, and ate here several times. Staff was always friendly and attentive. One gentleman in particular our first evening there was exceptionally kind. They absolutely loved the chicken fingers. They seemed nicely seasoned and not a typical bland variety that could be from a bag. Fries were similarly very good. I had an excellent Farm Fresh Burger, a Classic Burger, and a Bruben Melt. The first two were excellent, and the Bruben Melt was very good. The breakfast buffet had a decent but tasty selection. Made to order omelettes were added part way through our stay. Whether you're a guest or a nearby resident, you'll have a good meal here.”

“We do takeout regularly from Turks and it’s always perfect. Tonight (NYE 2025) we had company and ordered takeout for all of us. There was a mixup and my bf brought home the wrong bag of food. Turks recooked our order, told us to keep the wrong order as well, and even gave us a gift card for the inconvenience and delay. Very impressed! You guys are amazing.”

“Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.”
