“Comfortable family place that's been around since 1974 serving up tasty Italian dishes and pizza a little West of I-75 just South of Flint. Large parking lot. Great for couples, family or groups with 3 separate dining rooms. Good pizza ( I'm a Chicagoan who knows good pies) and great Italian dishes featuring a zesty marinara and plenty of cheese. Especially like their baked pasta dishes which are served in generous sized portions at reasonable prices and are accompanied by either soup or salad. Another plus is a fair assortment of craft beers on tap. Can't comment on desserts as even taking leftovers home, we're always too full to order any.”

“This vapor shop is the best shop in the area hands down, and the customer service is excellent and knowledgeable about everything you need to no about vaporing!! One thing I would like is if they went back to there original hours, because not everyone can make it there by 5pm most people are getting out of work then..but other than that gentleman bye the name of Zach will always take care of your wants and needs!!”

“We used El Potrero for catering an open house! Food was delicious and received many compliments on the burritos and enchiladas. It all was great! Thank you! Food was ready when stated, came in foil pans that were easily placed in chaffing dishes to keep warm. Will definitely recommend to others.”

“Food was great, but service was poor. It took way too long to be greeted by a server, she would then disappear for long periods of time. Also, we didn’t receive the promo envelope as advertised at the end of our meal and gave up waiting for her to return to ask about it. We will probably return because the food and beer was delicious, but we will remember to sit by the bar in order to be more visible to the inattentive waitstaff.”

“Note: this is not a restaurant but the sushi bar that is in a Kroger. The sushi is good by grocery store standards but if you are looking for a sushi restaurant this is not the place you are looking for. Great for lunch after grocery shopping.”

“Recently I had left a post how my last 2 pizzas we're made incorrectly and how dissatisfied I was with their service. Last night 11/13/24, I did go ahead and give them another try. “Okay, this is not a sit-down restaurant. This is your “I know this GREAT hole in the wall” carry-out place. The Mongolian Beef is outstanding, the General Tso’s chicken is fantastic, and their crab rangoons & dumplings should be illegal, they’re so good. I thoroughly enjoy China Star and have always had an enjoyable take-out experience.”

“Went here with my two daughters. Coffee was really good but also very expensive. For the three of us it was a little over $18. Compared to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, I would get coffee from Bigby.”
