“On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. What we learned during this visit, Capitol Grille is not only about great food, and great service, it is about the people, very special people who made this visit extraordinary. Mike R.“

“We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

This is my wife’s favorite she love the Ribeyes well done, Ocean Prime never miss with her stakes. “We just held a baby shower in the enclosed outdoor Patio at the Troy location, January 18th. Was worried it would be cold since it was in the low 20s outside and windy, but it was wonderful. Staff was wonderful to work with from all the pre-planning with Jenna through the entire staff at the Troy Location. Servers were very attentive to all the guests. Manager worked with us on how and when we wanted the appetizers served, followed by lunch and then dessert. It was a great location for the shower. It was like having it in our own backyard but with service and none of the cleanup! The fireplace with the chairs by it was a great place to display prizes for the guests and a great place for the new mom and dad to open the gifts with everyone being able to see. It was easy to walk around and talk to everyone. We will definitely recommend to our friends for future events.“

“This is my go-to restaurant whenever I’m craving good vegetarian food. They have one of the best vegetarian menus around with a wide variety of choices. The chaat options stand out—flavorful and authentic, definitely worth trying. Regular pav bhaji is amazing, though I personally don’t enjoy the “special” pav bhaji since the cashews, almonds, and raisins take away from the original taste.

Their Chinese menu is also excellent—highly recommend the manchow soup, it’s rich and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is clean and fresh, and the service has always been really good and attentive. Overall, it’s a reliable spot that never disappoints.“

“First Watch I always love, and especially the Salmon Frittata. But this time I had a cressaunt Egg Mc Muffin. Soooo good. Hot coffee and this delicious little drink with Tumeric, yum.
The service left a lot to be desired. Good but slow. Slow to get noticed, slow to get my coffee at the beginning. It seems all the servers were hiding in the kitchen. The chefs should be given a pat on the back for the food. It's delicious. I will come back and check on the service.“

“Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! Also, pork chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw were delicious. It all definitely hit the spot. Furthermore, they have Polish beer and other drinks to complete the meal. Best Polish Food around!“

“Ordered the chips and guacamole with the steak burrito!

Less than 2minutes of sitting down, they bring my chips + salsa & guacamole! The salsa has quite a bit of a kick in heat, and the guacamole cools down the tastebuds and tastes like it has hints of lime and cilantro.

The main course: the steak burrito! You do have to pay 3$ extra for the steak, but it's so worth it! Everything is nice and tender, I recommend with the pinto beans for the burrito... Everything is well balanced and cooked deliciously!

“Everything was delicious! I had the jangtuktukbap and barley tea. My Dad got the kimchi jiggae and beef jap chae. We loved all of it. The seaweed was also the best I've ever had.“

“I had a large order scheduled, and I could tell when I went in that they were slammed with customers. The manager was hyping his employees up and telling them they were rockstars for handling the pressure. My food was just a few minutes late, but I could tell they were triple checking my order to make sure I got everything. In a stressful moment like that, you could expect the order to be messed up, but they wanted to make sure that didn’t happen. They were very apologetic of the slight delay, which was unnecessary but appreciated. I was impressed with the teamwork and the manager’s kindness to me and his employees. “Easy ordering online, huge menu, generous on sauce packets and fortune cookies. The lady at the counter was gracious enough to throw in some drinks on the house. On top of just being nice, the lo mein was so good and flavorful! The chicken is thinly sliced so it soaked in the sauce and not dry. Great portion size for what you pay. It seems like the average take-out spot, but the good service and generosity makes it a stand out. Love giving good people business.“

“We recently ordered takeout from Penn’s Thai Cafe under its new ownership, and WOW, what a treat!

We’ve been fans of the chef owner’s cooking for a long time, so when they opened their own restaurant, we couldn’t wait to try it. You can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every dish.

The pad prick nor mai made with fresh bamboo, was a standout and something rarely found at this level outside of Thailand. We also had the kra pow moo grob (crispy pork basil stir fry) which was perfectly balanced - crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. Their pad Thai was excellent as well, with a rich depth of flavor and tanginess that sets it apart from the usual.

For appetizers, the minced pork bun with egg and the crab rangoon were a delightful surprise. They were comforting, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. We didn’t get a chance to try their newest dessert, i-Tim Kati (coconut ice cream), but it is definitely on our list for next time!

“Best Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered the general tsos, beef chow fun, and sautéed yu Choi. This was the best general tsos I’ve ever eaten. You can choose a spice level for it, too. The beef was deliciously flavored and perfectly cooked. The Yu Choi was fresh and so delicious. The portions are huge and the woman who took the order was so patient and friendly with us.
