“When I came home from the Navy back in 1975 hungry Howie's was downriver I believe at that time only. When I went into their pizza parlor I was in full dress uniform and the owner was unbelievable friendly plus he gave me a military discount of 10% I don't go anywhere else but hungry Howie's don't worry about the kids that are taking your order they're just young and overworked and underpaid I believe that but the food you get is perfect every time. Thank you so much hungry Howie's for supporting US veterans it means a lot now because we're old and sometimes we're crabby also.“

“We just tried MiYork for the first time last night but it won't be our last. The store smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. I ordered a meatball sub, a spicy chicken sandwich and French fries. Everything was so tasty and still hot when I got home. We cannot wait to try all the other items. Very friendly service and it didn't take long at all for my order.“

“It is so disheartening to hear the last couple of reviews.

I go there every single week. I have gotten pizza, boneless wings, but my favorite is the Turkey sandwich. Cut in half. With my pickle (lol) I was actually waiting for my order during the pizza fiasco (the past two reviews) and I side with the company. 100%. Everyone is different. Your light sauce doesn’t mean my light sauce and it doesn’t mean their light sauce. But they all work so hard to serve the city of walled lake.

Every single time I go, it has been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE. And Chris is the one that always greets and helps me. I’ve been helped by a few people there, and they’re all so nice. But Chris has helped me almost every time and he already knows my usual.

I see people complain on here about the pizza, about arbitrary b.s. and it’s really discouraging. This place freakin rocks.

“I was invited here with a few friends to try the lunch buffet. They charge $13.99 for salad, pizza, and a drink. The pizza is a New Haven thin crust with a really flavorful sauce. They offer a variety of pizzas to try that keep coming out from 11am to 2pm. You can ask for a certain topping if you don’t see one you like and they’ll make it! The salad bar area is kept fresh and clean. They had many topping options to put over romaine lettuce. Everything is washed and cut just before serving. You can see it and taste it. I’ve been back a couple times since then and enjoyed it each visit. It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had and pairs nicely with the salad bar. It’s definitely worth trying for the great price, service, and food.“

“Everything we ordered was good overall. I did wish the pizza crust wasn’t as dry. The flavors were on point, and we really enjoyed the cheese bread and garlic puffs. The butter paneer pizza was yummy! The shawarma pizza was nice but felt more like alfredo pizza. I mean I liked it. The dipping sauce was . Maybe some pickles, the right spices and a nicer crust would make it more flavorful. Overall, we enjoyed our food!“

Saw this place in the lot I was in, so walked in to see if they had slices- they do! Grabbed a deep dish slice with pepperoni & I'm sitting in my car eating it & it's SO DELICIOUS I have to tell you about it. The pepperoni is real pepperoni- thick sliced & full of flavor. Sauce is fresh! (I'm a sauce girl) , crust bottom is perfectly crisp & honestly it's some of the best pizza I've ever had! Bravo!“

Obviously the famous dill pickle pizza is amazing but I also regularly get the chicken parmesan, which has a pasta sauce base and spaghetti noodles under the cheese! I've never seen something like that at any other pizza place. The pretzel pizza with pretzel crust and a nacho cheese base is another fun one to try. The staff is always super friendly and efficient when I go in for pickup. The food is always hot and fresh with quality toppings. Makes for great leftovers. It's dangerous how close I live lol.“

From jets to hungry howies to cottage Inn these places do not match the consistent quality of this specific store. On top of that it doesnt cost 20 dollars just to get 3 toppings on the pizza. I can feed 4 adults with a medium pizza 2 toppings a dozen of breadsticks with sauce and still wouldn't have to pay more than 20 dollars, if you are sick of paying 25 plus for a Luke warm hour old pizza from a multimillion dollar company, order here.“

“Waterford has needed a place like this!!! We ordered a large pepperoni, a small cheese, and a cheese bread. Thin crisoy Perfect crust! Light sauce that you can taste every ingredient. Perfect amount of cheese with a sprinkle of Parmesan. A true Italian pizza place. I hope everyone in Waterford try’s this place! As a matter of fact, I hope Dave Portnoy finds this place and makes em famous. They deserve it. Thank you for bringing the love of pizza to Waterford. We were recently In lower Manhattan and stopped by John’s of Bleecker street which was reviewed by Dave Portnoy with a 9.3. This place was better.“

“Dude!! Very excited for my giant pizza to myself! Didnt ask how many toppings are allowed with the big benny pizza but my 2 seemed to be included… cajun and sesame all over but im still partial to hungry howies… i added garlic powder and red chili powder to fix it more to my spice level… HIGHLY RECOMMEND … i felt like the crust could have used some extra butter and flavors but overall AMAZING and this will hopefully last me 3 days😂❤️
