“Carry out pizza at the counter or dine-in next door in the bar. They actually deserve six stars for the food it was very good take out pizza. The young girl who helped me at the counter was lost and confused so it was a little annoying but we got the transaction completed with no major hassle.“

“As expected from the only VPN (Verace Pizza Napoletana) certified pizza place in Michigan, the food delivered nothing short of true authenticity and quality. Staff is very friendly, attentive, and well versed when talking about specials and menu items. The open kitchen and atmosphere really make the experience memorable. The kitchen is very clean and well kept; it’s amazing to see how hard the few people in the kitchen work to craft 10/10 pizzas with unforgettable flavor. The food is as amazing as it is accommodating, many vegetarian items as well as in house made gluten free crust. The drink menu is filled with an extensive list of imported wines and craft cocktails (and mocktails) made with fresh ingredients and good quality liquor. Just like in the kitchen, you can tell the bartender(s) work efficiently to prepare every drink to perfection. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry and has high standards, this place has truly earned my 5 star rating.“

The place has that classic neighborhood pizza joint vibe, laid-back and easy to hang out in. Service has always been solid and quick, especially when it’s busy. The pizza is what you’d expect from a traditional pizzeria. Good flavor, though it can be a bit greasy depending on what you order. One thing that keeps me coming back is that Aubree's is the only spot I’ve found in South Lyon with Coors Light on tap. “I recommend the Detroit and Chicago style pizzas. I have had both. Not my most recent order but the one before that was incorrect. I ordered the Chicago style “Da Boss” and god Detroit style. Didn’t have time to get it re-made. The pizza was very good but not what I ordered. The owner called me, apologized and gave me a $25 credit. I used that credit today for the Chicago style (Da Boss) which is very good! Human error happens and when it did, they took responsibility and made it right!“

“The reason we went in the first place, was for the kid's build your own personal pizza's. but then we tried the brussels sprouts. They are fantastic!! they were crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. I'm not sure what the sauce was but it was garlic, sweet, and slightly spicy. I could order those just for a meal!“

Maybe the dough had a longer hold time in the fridge? It is absolutely the best pizza I have had in decades. That is not an exaggeration. Perfectly cooked. I go there every single week. I have gotten pizza, boneless wings, but my favorite is the Turkey sandwich. Cut in half. With my pickle (lol) I was actually waiting for my order during the pizza fiasco (the past two reviews) and I side with the company. 100%. Everyone is different. Your light sauce doesn’t mean my light sauce and it doesn’t mean their light sauce. But they all work so hard to serve the city of walled lake.

Every single time I go, it has been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE. And Chris is the one that always greets and helps me. I’ve been helped by a few people there, and they’re all so nice. But Chris has helped me almost every time and he already knows my usual.

I see people complain on here about the pizza, about arbitrary b.s. and it’s really discouraging. This place freakin rocks.

“First time visiting Cottage Inn Pizza and I’m glad my friend recommended it! We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the artichoke chicken pizza — both were really good, solid flavors and well made. The chicken wings were a nice addition too. Nothing over the top, but consistently good across the board.

To top it off, since I was one of the last customers of the night, they surprised me with a complimentary brookie dessert — and it was absolutely delicious! That little gesture really made the visit memorable.

The broccoli cheese soup was the best, it was savory, blended well with bite size broccoli 🥦 I will be back the bold coffee was smooth and I added hazelnut cream to meet my wants!
