“they give you an ungodly amount of food at the hibachi table, and they also force a 20% tip which i never agree with businesses doing that. the food was good, but not worth over 100$ for 2 people when half the plate is just rice and noodles. that said, it's still a great choice for a one-time experience.“

“Absolutely amazing. We’re new to the area so we’re trying out different places to eat. Today we got wonton soup, almond chicken, pepper Steak, shrimp w vegetables, shrimp with lobster sauce and the sesame chicken dinners(some w shrimp fried rice and some with chicken fried rice) Everything was great even the kids loved it all. <3
P.S. price and portions gets a 10/10 in our book, we’ll definitely be ordering here again <3“

“This was my go to Chinese food back in the day when I lived in Detroit. Haven’t been able to get good Chinese food north of 8 mile in a while. Decided to drive to Detroit to check out Chan’s again. Almond chicken and shrimp fried rice, just like years ago. I had a hard time calling in to place an order, but finally got through with food ready in 15 min. Arrived and waited 45 min. Although irritated on the wait, was well worth the wait. Don’t forget the egg rolls. The best of the best. Highly recommended.“

“Had a great meal with a great show. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. The soup was delicious, the fried rice was done perfectly and the shrimp was not overcooked!
Kid-friendliness: Was good with appropriately including the kids in the show!“

“My husband and I, along with several friends, have been devoted patrons of this gem for the past eight years, and it remains our favorite Thai restaurant in Michigan. As self-proclaimed Thai food connoisseurs—and having had the privilege of visiting Thailand—we can confidently say this place is a standout.
The dishes are consistently packed with bold, authentic flavors and are always perfectly prepared. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the value is truly unmatched. The generous portions and incredible quality make the price point almost too good to be true.
We’ve been ordering from here at least once a week—sometimes twice—for the past seven years, and it never disappoints. The efficiency is remarkable, with most orders ready in about 10 minutes. For those new to the menu, we highly recommend trying the combo options, which include fried rice, a crispy chicken wing, and a flavorful soup alongside your entrée.
This restaurant has become a beloved part of our weekly routine, and it continues to deliver exceptional meals with every visit. Truly, a hidden treasure we can’t recommend enough.“

“Very average. There are better restaurants for Vietnamese and Thai food in Madison Heights, Mich.“

“my favorite place to go. not just the amazing food but the whole atmosphere. they are always very nice and welcoming. this is a place I will always come back too. I've honestly been satisfied with everything I've tried but some of my favorites are the dragon roll, smokey and crispy, and the unaju.“

“We've been coming to this establishment since it opened sometime around 2001. Thai Orchid is hands-down the best Thai food in Metro-Detroit. A close second is Sala Thai in Detroit. If you know, you know... Highly recommend Thai Orchid. 5 stars. Flavor and service are top-notch. Portions are enormous.“

“I worked in Hazel Park and would pass this place every day so my curiosity was piqued. Hands down it’s one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Do call and place order before arrival, it takes around 30-40 minutes, the kitchen area is quite small.“

“Still my favorite place for pho, the broth is unbeatable, and the service is nice. Even tho the atmosphere might not be the best, but still the only Vietnamese place I go back to again and again after tries over 10 Vietnamese restaurants in town.“

“Amazing take-out! Ready FAST! 15 minutes for family of 4 - great prices too. The Detroit Roll was so good with the lemon! My kids (9&5) loved the gyosa soup, CA rolls, katsu & edamame too. ?
Parking: Don’t park at the gas station, there’s a lot directly behind the building with a back door into the restaurant.“
