“Charlie's has been a local favorite for years and for good reason. Friendly service and great food never go out of style. Throw in their old TV playing classic black/white movies and the place just has a vibe. “One of the very few breakfast spots that understand that hashbrowns are supposed to be golden brown and crispy, also really good quality food with what was super fast service, my grandmother and I ordered, started a conversation and before it was even halfway over with our food had already been brought to us, great breakfast spot for sure!“

“When in the downriver area, we always come here for breakfast. We just couldn't come back to Texas without a stop at Olympic Coney Island.
First off, as soon as you walk in the door, you are warmly greeted. They always have plenty of staff and they are always busy.
One of the incredible things about a Coney Island is the ability to have a coney island at 7 am if you wish and this place serves them up beautifully!
Nobody is a stranger here. Striking up conversations with the next table is the norm.
Stop in and have breakfast, a coney and you MUST take home some of their Greek Dressing. It is so worth it.“

“I met a friend for lunch yesterday and we decided we would go to the Big Boy restaurant on telegraph Road in Taylor. The service was exceptional! Our food came out very quickly, and I think that the Big Boy hamburger I ordered was probably the best one I’ve ever had in my entire life! It was perfect!!!! And I mean, perfect! I told my sister how great it was and we’ve decided that we are definitely going to have a meal there next week. I was so impressed with my hamburger that I actually called the restaurant when I got home to tell them again that I thought the hamburger was perfect! Whoever the chef is, I hope he / she stays! Keep up the great work!“
