“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? Because I would love to see it if it has NOT.... but I looked up this place because of beloved memories, so I wanted to share. Thank you.“
“Great place for live music and events. I just don't like how they cram so many people in, especially when it's a seated event. It's packed so tight you can barely move around. Would be better off spacing it out to make it more comfortable“

“Ohhh, this bar is awesome!!! The bartender, star, she's incredible! Make sure that you tip her good! Super nice and polite, she was very understanding when I told her about the guy who took my drink, lol. I had a fun time playing chess, talking shit, I wish that there was food, this is the only thing, but even without food, the bar was fantastic, I don't know, maybe there was food and I was too drunk, I don't know. Fun bar, great time. If you're going to come here, don't be too serious.. You will have a fun time, I promise you. Everyone there is polite. But seriously, if you come to this bar, seriously, just give Star your money and she will give you a great drink. She's also super nice so no need to be uptight at this bar, you'll be okay! This bar, great place, there's a party that's going to be at this bar tomorrow, if you're going to come to this bar, seriously, just go to Star, she'll give you a good drink seriously.. I'm definitely coming back to this bar!!! There's not enough good things to say about it, but this is a good place to party, tomorrow!!! Very good!! Thanks!!! P.S. about the food, I don't know if they had any, they may actually have food there, but I didn't know what they had, I got a drink, but tomorrow, I'll see if they have food, and I'll probably forget to even update this review. “This place is a MUST to visit!...the food alone is a great reason to make this place a regular because everything is homemade...even the sauce and chips!!!...we usually come every Sunday...but Thursday is ladies night, with great specials...so we have incorporated other days into our busy schedule... because we have nothing but fun...if you're looking for a laid back place, with tons of fun...this is the place...see ya Sunday...✌️“

“BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.“

“I've been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I'm still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It's changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men's room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn't miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?“
“I've been here several times as a guest and always enjoyed it and loved all the tradition this organization has. Everyone is friendly and the entertainment is always top notch. I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. Go figure!“

“Stopped in Sunday for a late night beer. Bartender was great! Funny and engaging. Order a few apps and they were quick and tasty! Prices were great. Definitely will be back.“
“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Nice tavern and nice atmosphere. Food is good but I tried the cob salad with blackened chicken twice now. The blackened chicken is not tender. Quite hard to chew. So I probably won’t recommend or order chicken salad again. Drinks were good and service was fine.“

“Harvs Lounge is a cute local neighborhood bar was recently bought and rebranded from Joe’s and Joe’s bar after the passing of Joe. There’s an authentic neighborhood vibe, the cheapest pool in town, a wide variety of alcohol and a good variety of your typical local bar including fried foods such as fries mozerella sticks, fried pickles, and more! They also serve burgers and chicken sandwiches which are both delicious! And on Fridays we have a kicking Karaoke night with Karaoke with ADHDalex of Audial Entertainment every Friday night 9pm-1am! Come check out this fun little spot with a rich history in Lincoln Park!“

“Came in tonight for a girls Christmas party. Our waitress did amazing with so many women coming in at different times. She was attentive and made sure our drinks never went dry. She had just came back from a leave and with a new system, and a system error, she never acted stressed. I’m so happy we had our party at @sneakys again this year.“
