“I have served my guests food from the Allen Park Detroit Wing Co. (DWC) on many occasions. The food is incredible! The wings are cooked to perfection, and the macaroni and cheese is better than homemade. The staff is very courageous and polite, and the food is always ready for pickup on time.

“My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club on June 24, 2023. We were thrilled with how friendly and accommodating all of the staff was during our wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how the food was delicious and how they loved talking to our bartenders. The venue also accommodated some of our guest's dietary restrictions and our bar menu. We planned our event with Debbie. She was helpful and organized. She couldn't make it on our special day, so Nancy filled in during our rehearsal and wedding day. Nancy was also very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The ceremony space was beautiful! It included an arch with white flowers and greenery draped over it. Our only complaint was how hot the reception hall was. Some of the guests said they were comfortable with the temperature. It was a very hot and humid day outside. The building is a little bit older so it was difficult to regulate the temperature. Overall, the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our package included two entrees at the buffet, a wedding cake, table linens, and bar. The price was perfect for everything included in our package. The location is close to the airport and great for having a ceremony/reception at the same venue. We couldn't be happier with our choice!“

A white couple came in after me and sat right by me and was serviced by white employees. Maybe it's like that. I just thought that was weird.“

This is a place where you can get breakfast at 8 PM and steak and potatoes at 6 AM! There’s a lot of choices, just be sure you don’t make yours too late!“

The quality (and quantity) of food has greatly surpassed what it ever was before. Going from previous ownership who you couldn’t get a phone call through to and now top tier food at mid-tier pricing has been a great addition to Carleton cuisine. “Food was great, service was terrible. Called in an order as a hotel guest and was told a half hour. Arrived 30 minutes later to learn they forgot to put the order in and was asked "well do you still want it?" Unfortunately, we said yes and waited nearly an hour for our food. At least it was tasty and a walk away from our hotel room.“

Frankly I'm a little surprised to see negative comments about both the food, service, and prices, because I explicitly decided I needed to leave a review and rave about each. First, the convenience of their online ordering & drive thru pick up window (which closes @ 9) is fantastic. But also, the food quality (& portions) are great for the prices, especially in today's economy. My go-to is a large greek salad, which always has GREAT quality ingredients (and an ample amount of variety, too, not just loads of lettuce & some sad tomatoes) and a cup of lemon rice soup, which is deliciously rich & loaded with flavor. I've also had their spinach pie dinner several times and am always satisfied. I have not dined in here, but have come in to pick up orders, and the people I've encountered have been nothing but friendly and positive. In my opinion this place is a neighborhood gem, I will be gutted if they ever close.“

“We came in from Atlanta to do karaoke on Thursday 9.19.24. We had a great time but the server was terrible. We had to keep trying to find her to get drink orders and to get out ticket to check out. It was a group of us. We weren't eating but we were drinking. Otherwise, we had a great time. The DJ was good.“

“So friendly and help with everything I need since it's been 15yrs since I have bowled maybe longer since I bowled on a league and the service is quick and very friendly the lanes are good I havent had any problems with my ball not coming back or anything cant say anything bad about this place bowling or the food service“

“Food was absolutely amazing. How ever the Allen park street fair was going on so we ate outside a women lit a cigarette up while we were eating the manger came right out to tell her she could not smoke where servers were serving food. I was very satisfied he did not allow it and took care of the matter very quickly putting his customers first. Service was great the where three servers working and they did an amazing job serving customers and keeping drinks on the table.

Kid-friendliness: The service was great and good spirited kids that enjoy hockey will absolutely love environment there are also games for kids to play.
