The salsa they serve on the side is delightful & the server I had I believe her name was Katie, she made my husband & I feel very welcome as it was our first time & we weren’t sure what to get, she didn’t rush us into anything & even recommended a few items that she likes, the breakfast burrito being one of them which I can’t thank her enough for. I also love the look of the place the windows make it feel so open & when the suns out it’s a very pretty little cafe aesthetic to dine at. I didn’t rate 5* because even though the service & food was great their was a lot of commotion in the kitchen & even some yelling which just kind of makes the dining experience a bit awkward, wish they were more professional.“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“Malek absolute beast. Best costumer Service was great. Food was amazing. Literally the best chicken I’ve ever had in Dearborn and I’m not kidding. I don’t know how this place doesn’t have five stars and there’s a rated a 4.7 . “I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! I just tried the Ginger Jalapeno brew that you made me for my birthday and that stuff should be on tap... hopefully it will someday soon! Keep doing what you do guys!! “The food, service, and vibe were all great! We went in around 5 for an early dinner, but by the time we left at 6:30 it was busy so I’d make reservations if visiting after 6. We had the Kirkland and the islander and Heineken for drinks. We shared the steak frites and crab cakes with baked mac and cheese as a side. It was all delicious and the portions were decent sized. “We were in Wednesday night. The country omelette was amazing, love the rye toast (there are seeds in it) they gave plenty of gray on the omelette.Coffee was the best coffee I've had from a diner. “Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.“

“Classic table service with seasonally prepared dishes. Hummus with Kalamata olive pesto and on site made pita bread was hard to want to share. Roasted salmon with couscous, which was a tad dry, and lovely Swiss chard hit the spot. Large by the glass wine list with many great choices.“

“I always order my breakfast at Cameo's and pick it up thru the drive thru window. They have the best biscuits and gravy, bacon is always on point with crispness. They have good French toast with a tasty syrup. Scrambled eggs always made to perfection with melted cheese on top. The servers are all friendly and welcoming especially Felicia. They always make me feel like I am at home visiting a relative or family member. Best place to eat at, has been a staple with home cooked food since I can remember dating back to at least 1990.“

“Stopped in as I occasional do for breakfast in between visits for work. First noticed a nice remodel with a cool old school diner vibe. Looks like a great update. More notable however is the wonderful and attentive staff. Aside from my own server, everyone was super friendly and ensured I didn't need anything. Had an omelet this morning which was good. Prefer crispy hashbrowns, but I didn't request and so likely being picky at this point. Great service seems hard to find these days. Will definitely be back!“
