“My wife and I finally stopped in last Wednesday after wanting to try it for years but never being in the area during their open hours (Tuesday through Saturday 4-9). We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Gregorio which was fantastic as was the stuffed pepper soup. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she loved and the Ham and Potato soup which she said was delicious. The bread and oil was great as well. We enjoyed watching the train circling above. All staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.”

“Stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken pad Thai, crab rangoons, and the daily soup (a hearty beef-and-rice soup—wish I’d caught the name). Everything came out in a timely manner, piping hot, and stayed that way.
The soup was deeply flavorful with a rich, soy broth. The chicken pad Thai was the perfect spice level—present but never overpowering—and the tamarind sauce was glossy, tangy perfection. Hands down the best crab rangoons I’ve had in years: crispy shells, creamy filling, and zero grease.
Service was spot-on. Didn’t catch our server’s name, but she kept waters topped off and plates cleared without hovering. She was knowledgeable about the menu (we had a lot of questions at the table due to a food allergy) Food came out in minutes, no lag.
If you’re in Wyandotte, skip the chains and head to Coastal Thai. Quick, delicious, and genuinely friendly—already planning my next visit!”

“I have seen this place online but I am seldom in the area. Saturday my friend and I stopped for lunch. We sat near the front of the building so I had a chance to look the place over. Retired USMC, I know what clean is and this is clean, clean, clean. We each had a variation of their cheeseburger, and both were cooked exactly the way we asked for. Tender, juicy, delicious. We both agreed one of the best burgers we have had in many years. Anxious to go back and try more of their menu. Great service and everyone was "small town" kind of friendly.”

“BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.”

“Tried place out for the first time with a special occasion with longtime friends I got the barbecue chicken dinner it was great ! Waitress was attentive prices are high Not sure why the guest of honor could not have a side salad? When I’m pretty sure there was a salad bar? For this reason I am giving 4 stars”

“I met up with my family at On the Rocks for Tuesday $1.00 burger night and the food was very good. They have awesome fried rice there too. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the food. The staff was great. They genuinely cared about the service they were delivering. We will definitely be going back there again!”

“Stopped in for an iced caramel latte and an everything bagel with chive cream cheese both were delicious. The latte was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, and the bagel tasted fresh with a really flavorful spread. The shop itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with lots of food and drink options to choose from. A great spot to relax, work, or catch up with someone. I’ll definitely be back!”

“If you live in Wyandotte, the Oak is the one of the best places to go for an excellent variety of craft beer both on tap and in bottles. For those in the back of the room, this bar is cash only. Literally, cash only. They do have an ATM inside. Their food menu is amazing and they have a variety of different appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. If you are a Jeep owner, they have a rubber duck machine. Can’t say enough great things about this place! If you like craft beer, this is the place to be!”

I would recommend seeing Morgan anytime at Dotte pub! Morgan is so amazing she pulled a charger out as my phone was dying so I can charge it back up! “Celebrating our 66 anniversary, we were there early, it was very quite, we were sat at a window seat on the water side, service was great,waitress (I don't remember her name) was very good and friendly. The food and drinks were very good, and then a surprise they gave us a nice slice of cake to celebrate our anniversary. Very enjoyable night.”

“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.”

“I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.”

“I was in the area for the Downriver Cruise and just stumbled on this place while driving. I tried their Italian sub and a slice of pizza and couldn't believe how big the slice was for only $2. The sub was big too and the best I've had in a long time. I will go back there whenever I'm in the area.”

The owner was kind, responsive, and helpful with all of my concerns, which I truly appreciated. The space was lovely, the atmosphere was perfect, and the day ended up being so special. “Taco shells were not cooked and rice and beans were ice cold! Straight from the refrigerator! Called the Manager and he couldn’t be bothered to come to the phone! I sure won’t be back! There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant and it was lunchtime! I should have known better. Don’t waste your time or your money at this dump! I won’t be back that’s for sure!”
