“We love its food . People are very nice and welcoming. Food it’s delicious, healthy and halal. It’s fresh and fast. They have Dubai chocolate too and some dessert.
I recommend it

Parking: Small parking lot but not close so definitely you will find a place. And it’s inside a plaza . No worries about parking.“

“I LOVE this place. As a public servant, I often eat here as it is right down the road from Joe's. They are ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS accommodate if I want to try something unusual (although I usually order the chicken Schwarma extra sauce....can't go wrong!!) and once a couple years back I had paid for my food and got called out for an emergency & someone came running out to the parking lot and vaulted my Schwarma through my ambulance window. I am a customer for life. ♥️“

“Spiedo is putting out the most exciting, innovative, and (most importantly) delicious food in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner (or a great lunch). I cannot express enough how thoughtful their food is.

Spiedo does rotating menus of wraps, rice bowls, and sides. The wraps and rice bowls are amazing (the spicy pork, walleye, chicken, kielbasa, and spicy tofu are all really, really great. The falafel’s the only one I’d forgo for the others).

As good as the main dishes are, the sides are even better. The farmer’s cheese is amazing. They had a lemon chicken rice soup for a while that was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. Other ones I’ve loved from past and current menu rotations are the roasted cabbage, griddled potatoes, eggplant, phkali (carrot puree) dip, smashed cucumber, and heirloom tomato. It’s hard to go wrong with the sides - I suggest you prioritize them when deciding what to order. The creativity is just phenomenal - dishes are packed with fresh herbs, lots of texture, and flavor combinations that work very well.

The chocolate tahini milkshake is amazing as well.

“Been waiting for Cava to open since they first announced it in their website's job listings a while ago 📄 This will be one of their first locations in the area can't wait 🤩 Their braised lamb is halal and goes well with their saffron rice 🔥 This is a very good location 🙌🏼

UPDATE: Their grand opening was today July 20th! I got there about 20 minutes before they opened, line was not long yet only about 15 people 🔜 Once we got inside they welcomed us and gave everyone tote bags with a cookie and Cava cup inside🥤The dining area is beautifully done and spacious one of the bigger locations I've seen plenty of space for people waiting in line and for people to eat and pickup their food 🍛Ordering was a smooth process and the line was moving at a steady pace 💯 If you download the app you can sign up for their rewards and use it inside or when ordering online 📲 I had the build your own bowl with saffron rice 🍚 braised lamb 🐑 cucumbers + tomatoes 🥒🍅 red pepper hummus 🌶️tzatziki ⚪️ skhug 🌿 garlic 🧄 and hot harissa vinaigrette 🔥 it also comes with a free pita on the side 🫓 and you can choose to get hot harissa pita chips and a drink as well if you want 🍹My bowl was incredible, very fresh and full of different flavors that go very well together 🤩 The hot harissa pita chips were crispy and fluffy at the same time, they were well seasoned too! Dipping them in the hummus and tzatziki was delicious and reminds me of traditional middle eastern bread but crispier 😍 Their drinks are made in house I've had the strawberry citrus in the past so I went with the blueberry lavender lemonade which was unique and refreshing 🫐 Mrs. Mo was super friendly and welcoming to everyone asking them how was everything and making sure things were going well 👏🏼 They have booster seats available for the little ones and a changing table for babies in the bathroom which was clean and open so you can wash your hands after done eating 🧼 There is a good amount of parking in their lot and the market parking lot right next door 🚙 The drive thru is for picking up mobile orders and you can also pick them up inside as well🚪Overall it's five stars for fantastic food and service if you love rice bowls this place is a must try 🙌🏼“

“This is a wonderful small restaurant right near trader Joe's although many folks do take out, I like to sit there enjoy my freshly made felafel, chat with the owner and or the other customers. Nice selection, and if you don't want to have a wrap then you can get everything as a bowl. Highly recommended!“

“Old school neighborhood diner on the east side of Ann Arbor. Achilles has become my go to place for breakfast in my brief time residing in Ann Arbor. The Servers are exceptional! Hopefully the owner permits staff to give me their wifi password one day.“

“Alright, this place has good service (nothing special on the service end), prices I thought were pricy UNTIL I got the amount of food I did. DAMN did I get food, I forgot to take a picture. I got a gyro bowl, I could eat it in 3 meals maybe. A normal person probably 2 meals. The food is very very good, super fresh, flavorful, VERY GOOD.

Now, the only downside, is the tables were dirty and the floor was dirty. The kitchen looked very clean and it smelled very clean just the floors and tables. They also didn’t have good water. We asked for a cup of water and it had fruit punch mixed in it.

But overall I would go back for sure! Maybe just carry out instead!“

“Went to Ahmo's today for a regular gyro to go. They weren't busy at 2 PM on a Tuesday. Waited only 2 minutes or so. The gyro was excellent. The tomatoes were ripe and fresh. The lamb and beef were perfect. I'll be returning to the Stone School Rd location for another gyro soon.“
