“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!”

“I stopped by last night for dinner with one particular menu item in mind… It was the pozole de puerco! I have had people in general rave about pozole and folks in the reviews were raving about it too so I wanted to give it a shot. I have actually passed by this restaurant a ton and have wanted to try the pozole but this was mostly during the summer and I am usually not craving something warm when it is hot out. However, with the cooler temperatures, something hot is just what I was needing this weekend!

You get a generous amount of pozole with two tostadas, lettuce, raw onions, avocado and some “mild” salsa. I say “mild” because it still had a good bit of heat to it! I love some tostadas and these were excellent. The pozole was hardy and they give you a fair amount of meat too. I thought it was good but it might just not be my style of soup. However, I still finished the whole bowl so there’s that. I have also been recommended the tacos here so if I am in the area again, I will probably try those next time!”

And now that I know about St. Croix baking company in Hudson, my car will not breeze by Hudson anymore. 😋 I used to go from Eau Claire to the twin cities without stopping but now that I know better I have to stop at this bakery.”

“Love love love JtG! Delicious, organic coffee locally sourced and so many options for flavors! The monthly speciality drinks are always fun themed. Jess, Suzi, Aimee, and Lauren are so friendly and they are so genuine- when they ask, they do want to know how you're actually doing. They do fundraising and support local businesses and causes in the community. they partner with a local bakery for yummy pastries. so good we always have a tab open.”

“First time ordering take-out pizza today. I am Celiac so gluten free. When I asked about how they prep gf pizzas, I was blown away at the knowledge and care taken when prepping and baking. Crust made off-site, toppings added off line, fresh from the back so no cross contamination, and cooked in the same ovens BUT in their own gf containers! Wow, cannot guarantee anything, even with all of the awesome precautions, but I knew that AND was comfortable ordering. This pizza is now tops for me. Excellent taste, tons of toppings and cheese. Like I remember pizza used to be back in the day. MUST TRY!!! Thanks to EJ’s for going above and beyond for your customers. I’ll be back. 💛”
