6 Best Ice Cream Shops in Bloomington

“We were looking for an ice cream place that wasn't in the mall and where we could sit for a while. Staff was very friendly, flavors were great. I personally really enjoyed the passion fruit and the tres leches. Some cute photo ops. We also watched someone else order a snack which looked so yummy and fresh. There may have been some food envy. Anyhow would recommend and we will be back.“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. Now if you only had your fried chicken back on the menu, my favorite. See you soon“

“This place was good but at the same time not totally what I expected !

I got the lotus biscoff waffle. The waffle itself was tasty - crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I didn't taste a whole lot of biscoff flavor though. There were mainly some crumbles and 2 cookies up top, but otherwise tasted like regular vanilla ice cream with some caramel drizzled.

The bubble waffle wasn't filled all the way and there were empty pockets where ice cream could have been.

The taiyaki looked to be advertised with ice cream inside but I ended up getting the custard one that tasted very egg-like instead of vanilla custard flavored. I love eggs but didn't like the flavor of this much. It may have been my mistake that I didn't read the description properly but there are pictures on the walls of taiyaki with ice cream so I guess I was expecting the flavors to be different.

Otherwise the service was pretty good - they made everything fresh so there is a slight wait but it's not too bad.“

“I got a cookie cake for a present for family member and there was a change in plan last minute, they worked with the change and were extremely helpful and polite with the order.He loved the cookie cake and shared it with several people, his favorite cookie is snickerdoodle. “When to Mall of America this afternoon and checked out Hagen-Dazs. Daycie the employee there recommended a very enjoyable mango strawberry smoothie that was very refreshing. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make the experience feel personal and welcoming.“
