“Conny's Creamy Cone is definitely worth the stop! It was very busy when we visited, so expect a bit of a wait—but that's usually a good sign. The menu has a huge selection of ice cream, shakes, sundaes, and treats, so there's something for everyone. If you're patient during the rush, you'll be rewarded with some really tasty ice cream. Highly recommend!“

“All the ice cream things you would expect from a place shaped like an old dairy queen but add DELICIOUS MEXICAN FOOD and AMAZING espresso drinks. Tasty burgers, chicken strips and fries. Then tamales, in a few varieties including oaxaca! Icecream cakes, flurries, churros, tacos, espresso, friendly fast service. Great for kids!

“The best DQ in the state. Something about the soft serve that stands out from the rest. I think it is the setting of the temperature and moisture control. They get it perfect. Also the service is quick and very friendly. He hires local kids and treats them well and they aer trained well.“

“We're so lucky to have Grand Ole Creamery in our neighborhood. In nearly 20 years of visiting the store, we've never had a bad experience. My favorite flavors are s'mores and coffee break but I don't think there's a wrong choice!“

“We are frequent customers of Nelson’s storefront in St Paul (Highland Park) and we decided to have them cater dessert at our wedding. It was a big hit with our guests! We had two scoopers who kept the line for ice cream moving quickly. While we wanted to include waffle cones after we signed our contract and paid for them after the fact, they did not make it to the venue. Our contact Abby made it right and refunded that portion as well as some extra for the inconvenience. We will be back when they open back up in the summer!“

“Today 4-20-2025 I went to this location two young girls were working around 1:30 pm and I order a small Oreo Blizzard but was charged for a Medium size instead. I come here for weeks now and I know how much for the small and it’s 4.69. and not 5.15. Any ways update: 4-22-2025 around 2pm went to this location and told them about this small incident and younger lady cashier she apologized and So I bought a medium sized Oreo blizzard and got a upgraded to large to balanced it off. Thx ladies! That’s what I called taking care of your customers! I will be back again and again! Now it’s 5 stars not 1 star lols“

“Love this place. A true East Side gem. We have tried the Burgers, Shawarma wrap and bowls totally addicting. Chicken tenders are a hit and don't forget the Gyros they are awesome. Ice cream better than the DQ. Try to visit there one a week. The owners are lovely, very friendly.“

“This was a wonderful surprise to see a cool ice cream shop in the neighborhood. We saw those striped awnings and went in on a rainy evening. The host/owner was very friendly; they offered us samples - all tasted great. I went with licorice and I thoroughly enjoyed it!“
“This place was good but at the same time not totally what I expected !
I got the lotus biscoff waffle. The waffle itself was tasty - crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I didn't taste a whole lot of biscoff flavor though. There were mainly some crumbles and 2 cookies up top, but otherwise tasted like regular vanilla ice cream with some caramel drizzled.
The bubble waffle wasn't filled all the way and there were empty pockets where ice cream could have been.
The taiyaki looked to be advertised with ice cream inside but I ended up getting the custard one that tasted very egg-like instead of vanilla custard flavored. I love eggs but didn't like the flavor of this much. It may have been my mistake that I didn't read the description properly but there are pictures on the walls of taiyaki with ice cream so I guess I was expecting the flavors to be different.
Otherwise the service was pretty good - they made everything fresh so there is a slight wait but it's not too bad.“

“We discovered Cardigan Donuts on our way to the Target Center for the Bruce Springsteen concert via the City Center skywalk, so we came back the next morning. Holy delish! We’re so glad we did! We tried the Old Fashioned, glazed blueberry cake and the strawberry rhubarb filled Bismarck. All three were wonderful - beautifully crafted, genuine tastes of powdered sugar, fruit…just real ingredients. The staff were super friendly and we even got a discount for being first timers! “I had a small issue at the other Dairy Queen on white bear we came here hoping to have a better experience and we did just that ! I believe the man might have been a a manger and he was so polite and respectful! We re ordered the same stuff as we did at the previous DQ and are food here was good and sundae was made with love ❤️ that made my daughters day !
