“The chocolate chip cookie, hands down you can never go wrong with. The Eagan location needs more workers and to greet each customer that comes in as my husband and I weren’t greeted. However it was later in the night and there were only two workers so they could have been tired. Rather than my experience was fine. In and out pretty quickly.“

“First time at this location. Every Culver's I've been to has been clean and the employees polite. But they are above and beyond at this location. Quick service and they checked in on us. I got my daughter's custard with sprinkles because she loves sprinkles. Of course today she doesn't love sprinkles. An employee overheard (at the table) and quickly grabbed a different custard for her. Very happy with my experience!“

“Whenever I head over to Oryza Poke & Ramen for my ramen fix, I see Rita's Italian Ice steps away. It's normally closed. When I was in the Twin Cities last month, I got my ramen fix on my final full day there. Afterwards, I felt like dessert. This place was open. Woo hoo!I walked into the store. A woman promptly greeted me. She was warm and welcoming. She gave me a sample of strawberry custard. Her husband was in the back, handcrafting all custards and ices. The custard wasn't overly sweet and was creamy.I asked if I could do a combination of ice and custard. Yes!I got a large watermelon and blue raspberry ice, with a scoop of strawberry custard on top. She went ahead and put my order together pretty quickly.I paid with a credit card. All was well. She invited me to sit down. I found a table, sat down, and went at my frozen dessert. It was excellent.I am typically an ice person. The watermelon and blue raspberry flavours were yummy. They were so refreshing on a hot, summery day. They were slightly sweet, but the flavours were on point.I had to have more of the strawberry custard. I could have this custard for days. It was delicious. You could taste the real strawberries in it. It was crafted with a lot of care.I wasn't expecting to be so warmly welcomed. I chatted with the woman as if we had known each other for years.Perhaps she doesn't see too many Chinese folks in Eagan. She and her husband were originally from Pakistan. They immigrated to Los Angeles. They decided to start this Rita's franchise in Eagan. It's quite the climate shift. They split their time between LA and Eagan. It explains why I have never seen this store open when I'm in town for Minnesota Wild games. This store is closed from late October to May. I normally fly in for games between late September and May, depending on whether the Wild make the playoffs.I got to meet her husband and we had a nice chat. They are such a friendly, nice couple. There are a handful of tables and seats in this store to sit down and enjoy your frozen treats. I felt relaxed and happy. Maybe it was the sugar slowly kicking in, along with meeting this couple. This store is located in a plaza. I have never found any issues parking.I need to revisit this store. My window of opportunity is now till late October. I look forward to having more frozen desserts.(362)“

Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Shop •
1420 Yankee Doodle Rd, Eagan

“we ordered an ice cream cone cake that was meant for 2-4 people, but it was shared amongst 7 of us. it had the perfect amount of icing (much less than regular cakes). the cake and ice cream combination was delicious. there were two mini ice creams on top of the cake. the cake was a little small for its price ($25), so their bigger-sized cakes are more worth it. customer service was excellent. there was no wait time, and our transaction was processed quickly. there's also two tables with umbrellas outside.“

“Baskin-Robbins is not the same company that they were in the past whereas the company was known for its "31 flavors" slogan, with the idea that a customer could have a different flavor every day of any month. This store, I think had like 10 flavors at best. Not to mention Dunkin Donuts isn't the same either as I remember donuts freshly baked daily. Methinks the donuts come frozen to the store then thawed before being sold to customers. Being both concepts are in a very small location kills the experience of both companies of old. They do have a drive thru for those fast orders to go.But, Dunkin Donuts was a place where old fogies like myself could go after church for coffee and donuts with friends. Not anymore as the stools have been taken out of stores. Ah, the memories.“

“Kicking myself for not stopping here earlier! We came for a sweet treat after a birthday dinner, and we both agreed it's some of the best ice cream we've had in the Twin Cities. Things to know: - Almost ALL of their flavors are gluten-free! - A variety of signature staples, revolving flavors, and seasonal flavors - The shop is small, with a few benches and one table for seating - plan to take it out and walk - It's tucked away in a walking-only area of 50th and France - park in the parking ramp and enter near Mr. Paul's We had such a hard time choosing flavors - they were all so creative and sounded delicious! As a gluten-free girly, I was shocked and impressed to see flavors like cookies & cream and brownie offered GF. Prices are pretty typical - and honestly for the quality and flavor, it's worth it. The staff member onsite when we visited was so kind and helpful - she was clearly enthusiastic about the flavors and had tried them so she could give accurate recommendations. We opted for: cayenne caramel brownie almond toffee ganache peanut butter chocolate cookie milk and cookies and loved each one! Can't recommend this spot enough.“

“My favorite neighborhood ice cream shop! They serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream from Wisconsin and it is the perfect creamy-but-not-too-fatty tasting ice cream. The flavors switch out a lot so there is variety, but my favorite (The S#$t Just Got Serious) is always there. The owner and team are friendly and I always leave smiling!“
