He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and honestly, his little jokes throughout the meal made the whole experience even better. He had us laughing and feeling comfortable the entire time. You can tell he loves what he does; his positive energy really stood out. The food was great as always, but Luis definitely made our visit special. We’ll be asking for him every time we come back!“

“Everything was fantastic! The pasta was incredible and the bread and oil dip were the best we've ever had! The portions were very generous. I want to keep eating, but I'm at my limit, though I have enough for another meal to look forward to later. We carried out the order and it was wrapped up and still hot when we got home. “The Cave Cafe is one of my new favorite trucks that I’ve had. The Boss Wrap is unbelievable! Chicken and gyro meat is a great combination and it works really well here. The chicken quesadilla has a generous amount of chicken and is grilled perfectly, a high quality quesadilla. Cave Cafe was one of the highlights for me at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Everyone was so friendly too. Afro-Italian fusion makes for incredible tasting food. I need to keep track of this food truck in the future!“

The location wasn’t quite where I was expecting—tucked away and easy to miss if you’re not familiar with the area—but absolutely worth finding. I was genuinely impressed with the sandwiches – packed with flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients. The price point felt fair considering the portion sizes; I easily got two hearty servings out of just half a hoagie. The taste was incredible – rich, fresh, and satisfying in every bite. I can't wait to come back and try more from their menu! Highly recommend for anyone craving a true Italian deli experience.“

Yes there is a time limit that they mention at the time of reservation and at the restaurant but it’s 90 minutes so definitely doable. We will be back!“

“Party of 12 had a blast and the fettuccine was not bland at all! The sirloin steak was fabulous! The Strawberry Margarita was perfectly made. Chicken was not soggy. Had Carbones on each of his birthdays and when overdue on each of our pregnancies. He passed away 16 years ago but I still have Carbones on our anniversary and his birthday; he would have been 81 today. The pizza is still as grand as my memories.“

“One of the best pizza places around! They always have great food. My sister and I went on a Friday evening, which we knew would be busy. We arrived at our designated time only to find out that they were behind on orders. The first thing I noticed was how hard your employees were working. They looked so overwhelmed and stressed out, but we’re still able to give us great customer service. I saw the order receipts flowing in by the bunches to the point they had to put them in a huge pile on the countertop. Please limit how many people can order per time slot online. Your employees are working so hard for indoor dining as it is.“

“Coolest atmosphere. Consistently delicious food (delivery, takeout or in-house!). Excellent staff. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. Thank you Luce for honoring the booth request and being consistent with excellent food and service - it made a world of difference for our whole family! ("Tubular" as our visiting teen said)“

“I've been a customer of the Eagan location for more than 30 years driving all the way from far west Bloomington because the pizza was so good. I always order thin crust pizza. The sauce has always been the best around. I hadn't been there since May 2025. This time (October 2025) the sauce seemed like plain Hunts Tomato Sauce -- no seasonings whatever -- and the cheese and toppings tasted bland. Unsure of why, when i got home and researched -- discovered the business was sold May 2025. It''s not the same anymore. Don't think I'll ever go back.
EDIT: As a long time customer, I decided to go back to give them another chance. I was happily surprised my pizza was made to the original recipe. Whether the visit prompting my negative review was an unfortunate lapse, or some negative reviews sent them back to the traditional recipe, I'll now not give up on them. I've changed my 1-star review to a 4-star review.“
