Steak and Ale Reviews
Price is not equal to the quality of food or service provided. Prime rib and burgers from our group were all over cooked even when we asked the waiter if we needed to request it more rare to assure what we wanted would come out to us. No dice. Food took forever and had to walk to the bar for my own refil. yikes...
Apparently the host did not want us to eat there. Completely ignored us for nearly 5m while he was busy wiping down menus. We ordered the Prime Rib and is was not baked but sheared. Tasted like over grilled steak. Very disappointed. The salad bar is not so great. Bylerys is way better.

Steak and Ale offers a lively dining experience with great service and a delightful menu. Guests have praised the excellent salad bar, which features a diverse selection, reminiscent of the original Steak and Ale but on a smaller scale. Many have complimented the attentive servers, including Mik and Juan, who provide professional and gracious service.
The food receives mixed reviews; while the BBQ ribs and 12oz prime rib are highlighted as delicious and well-cooked, some dishes like the meatloaf are noted to be a bit chewy. Guests enjoyed the muddled old fashioned cocktail, although some found it disappointing. The mile high chocolate cake has been particularly well-received for its rich and velvety texture.
The atmosphere is described as relaxed yet upscale, with a good mix of classic and modern rock music enhancing the dining experience. Overall, Steak and Ale is recommended for its good food, attentive service, and enjoyable ambiance, making it a great choice for gatherings with friends or family.
