“We had a very comfortable stay at the Palmer House recently. We were in town for one day for a wedding. The historic nature of the hotel and nods to Sinclair Lewis were a draw. The best part of our stay was the excellent service from booking to check-in/check out. We were met with friendly and caring staff at each encounter. Best of all, Winnie and Dave went far above and beyond when they discovered we had left some items behind in our room. We were far into our journey home—too far to turn back. I asked if they could ship our belongs and charge us to the postage, but they went one better and arranged to drop off our items at our house! They had a trip to a neighboring town scheduled, and they added this stop along the way. This personal touch meant so much. It shows you how nice it is to have local, independent ownership in a business.”

“BOO to all the naysayers. I drive from Coon Rapids at least once a month just to breathe some non-city air and deal with down-to-earth friendly people. Have never seen or experienced any negativity towards anyone. Yes, it can get a little raucous and rowdy at times but THAT IS A BONUS!! They don't have a fancy menu but that's not what it's about. You can walk up to anyone in there and start talking to them and it's like they know you and you know them. The people that have had a problem there, I'M SORRY but . . . . . the problem is THEMSELVES. (sp???) whatever. LOL)”

“Watched the Annandale Football semi final game on their big screen TV. The venue was perfect. Ordered appetizers, burgers. salad, and flat bread. Everything was served hot and the server was attentive and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised with the sweet potato fries. They were not crispy tasteless strings of sweet potato, but actual planks of crispy on the outside, moist sweet potato on the inside. I have never had sweet potato fries that are close to these. A must try, you won't be disappointed.\nGreat cocktails too. Impressive that the owner checked on us and wanted to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back”

“Listen i do not like leaving 1 star bad reviews because it hurts the owners. its not their fault that the employees they hired probably put on a good front when they had their interview but the service i had today (sat september 19th). Was probably some of the worst service I had ever here a simple mistake turned into sas and attitude. When you order a combo meal it comes with fries but was told 1 of the combo meals did not come with fries. I was so disappointed in the attitude from the cook instead of getting pissed off i choose to purchase a side of fries and leave without any sort of apology from either employees. Im so disappointed in the cook and the boy working the register. The young lady doing the drive through was very friendly and pleasant”

Naborhood is kind tough but never an issue.
Also right off hey 10 on way to cabin so a must stop 4 out of t times on way up north.

“Alexes (Spelling) was above and beyond with service and making sure everything was top notch. Most sandwiches from subway taste the same regardless of the location, but some people just have that TLC touch to make things taste a little but better. Best sub I've had in a long time. I used to GM a Subway, as well as other restaurants and someone like Alexes would've been a blessing to have on the team!”

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Not even busy and it took 35 minutes to get my food. Absolutely unacceptable. The entire staff looked stoned. Rude, unclean, 8 people working and over 30 minutes for food? Seriously? I wasn't the only upset one either. So many upset customers.”
