“We were out for a drive & stopped by to have an appetizer and beverage. Asked if had “walleye bites”, did not have on menu, the Bartender said let me try something, came back with a basket of lightly breaded walleye bites that he made up for us. They were great! Tasty! Hot!“

“Great place to have a drink. Perfect spot to play pool with your friends. Great breakfast in the mornings. Big Mike is the best bartender in town. Just be cautious of your drinks and who you're meeting. Keep your eyes on your drinks you never know who's going to give you something when you go to the bar. Been going here for many years. Just be cautious of your drinks I got slipped something when I was at the bar on Monday. And it has taken my life for a ride since. (Also to clarify I met a female coworker. They had a shot ready for me when I got there. I trusted my coworker and it was a bad life choice. If you don't have the drink come straight from the bartender and have eyes on it the whole time do not trust it.)“
“A few days ago I was invited to go to the Sunlite Bar & Grill for burgers with a group of fellow SCUBA divers. I heard the rave about their burgers and fries as being rated as the best. Being rather a "Hamburger Connoisseur" myself, I had to check this out. Well... YES! I absolutely loved their burgers and fries! I will definitely be going back for more! Their Pepperjack Bacon Cheeseburger with (with an extra patty) was completely satisfying!“
“My husband and I went with our son on our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. I believe she must be the manager and I didn’t get her name but she came over and was engaging with my son and letting him pull her earrings. When I mentioned it was our anniversary she told us we could get a free dessert. She also told us that you can order their pizzas to freeze to enjoy pizza all winter!!“
“I am on a gluten-free diet and I appreciated the staff knowing what was gluten-free and what wasn't. It left me confident that I could eat there safely. I ordered the Irishman Burger, and they told me the corned beef was cooked in beer, so it wasn't gluten-free. I appreciated being informed and ordered the Juicy Lucette on a gluten-free bun. It was really good. I'd stop there again next time I need lunch in Detroit Lakes.“
