“We had our wedding at Lakeside this past weekend and we couldn't be more grateful for their team. Kellie was so calm, organized, and accommodating when it came to our big day and we appreciate her so much. “This is the place that you have to drive off the beaten path to find. Located between Perham and Ottertail, the name says new fashioned bar and grill but it is housed in a shed-like structure and is welcoming to all ages. We had the chicken sandwiches and burgers and all 4 were great. Our waitress was very considerate and checked on our table often. Gaming plus a couple games for the youngsters and also simple board games available to play during your dining experience. Full bar too. The only thing that would make this the best is more pickle item options....it is called the Salty Pickle so thought there would be some fun appetizers and maybe some different choices on pickles for on the burgers. The only entree on our table that came with pickles was the chicken melt. “I enjoyed the atmosphere. Just stopped in for a drink, so I never tried the food. It's got music, drinks, and bar games, so it completes my checklist. Bathroom door has a huge gap in it, which was strange, but nothing I really care about.“
“Stopped in for a Tuesday dinner after a long drive. Sat at the bar and Dave took great care of us! Started with drinks. My first was a single bourbon that's unique to MN (see pics). Second was a dirty Hendricks Martin, after watching a few cocktails being put together. Tuesday is wing night. So we went with wings. They're $4.50 per half-dozen of each flavor. They're on the smaller side but that's not a surprise given the price. I had Buffalo and General Tso. While I've never had a General Tso chicken wing, I would certainly order them again. Buffalo was Buffalo but the General was unique and delicious! Sat at the bar and Dave took great care of us. He's also quite the mixologist so don't be shy when ordering if he's behind the bar.“
