“The brisket is tender and flavorful, in addition to the in house-made bbq sauces. the burgers were juicy and served with homemade pickles and pickled peppers. homemade fried chips were crisp and light. The chili was smokey with slight heat. Yum- Well be back!“
“This is the place that you have to drive off the beaten path to find. Located between Perham and Ottertail, the name says new fashioned bar and grill but it is housed in a shed-like structure and is welcoming to all ages. We had the chicken sandwiches and burgers and all 4 were great. Our waitress was very considerate and checked on our table often. Gaming plus a couple games for the youngsters and also simple board games available to play during your dining experience. Full bar too. The only thing that would make this the best is more pickle item options....it is called the Salty Pickle so thought there would be some fun appetizers and maybe some different choices on pickles for on the burgers. The only entree on our table that came with pickles was the chicken melt. “I took my 1 year old out for lunch today (just the two of us) he didn’t want his shoes on so I had to carry him around while ordering (30lbs). Loretta? Loraine? I cannot remember her name but she came and sat next to my son and buckled him in the highchair while I got situated and my drink. absolute sweetheart! Thank you for helping this mama out! ?“
“This morning I ordered for the first time at this McDonald’s through the McDonald’s app, and I order an iced peppermint coffee. When I arrived a lady came out and apologized that the peppermint is a seasonal and is not out yet, and asked if I wanted something different. I told her the pumpkin iced coffee. She came out a few minutes later and brought me my coffee and a holiday pie, I thought that was very sweet. I wished I got her name, but that was the best customer service I have received in a long time especially at a McDonald’s. And the pie was amazing, first time having that.“
“We had a wonderful experience at 1894. It’s a beautiful old building, great service, and delicious food! The fried egg sandwich was wonderful, and the pizza was great! The burgers going by us looked great too! I would totally recommend this restaurant!“
