I came with a friend to Fargo from Atlanta for a weekend visit and had hopeful expectations for this place. My expectations were exceeded beyond my wildest dreams. Zach and Savannah were the most welcoming, kind, and fun bartenders / managers I may have ever come across, and the overall environment of Chub's is something I still think about since my visit.

There's a lot to do in Fargo (we hit around 25 bars within 3 days)(it was St. Patrick's Day don't judge), but I can easily say Chub's was my favorite.

I'd love to come back again sometime. Next time I'm in Fargo, Chub's Pub will be my first stop off the plane.“

Quite a few people so the servers were busy and did an excellent job.

“Definition of what one would consider a dive bar. That title is only accurate when describing the low number of patrons and dark corners throughout the interior booths. Service was friendly and prompt. Easy to strike up a casual conversation with the gals working. The ratio of server to patron allows for drinks to flow continually. Employees whom one can see enjoy performing. Some may go as far as to call Specks Bar, a hidden gem.

Parking: Easy to find a spot as Specks bar has a couple hundred yard area on the backside which extends to the rainroad“

“Unwined bar in Dilworth, MN. don't go, unless you want a F___ing dog to piss on your purse. We just left there, and saw and told them your dog just pissed on her purse. No big deal to anyone, except the owner of the purse. No wonder the place smells so strong of Pine Sol, gotta cover up something. We will not be returning. Before the dogs we liked it, no more. The place has literally gone to the dogs.“

“I was in for lunch on Saturday. Place looks great. The food was tasty, their fries are really on point, maybe the best in town. Molly the bartender was great. She had a good rapport with her customers and did a good job of checking in with everyone despite being the only person there. It kinda felt like what I would imagine a modern version of Cheers would be, which is not something you would expect from a hotel bar.“

“The Local 701 Bar did an awesome job for my husbands 50th Birthday party. The staff was amazing and so great to work with prior and the night of the party. The bartenders made sure the pizza bar was full all night. The food was wonderful and the service was great. The side room has a great set up with your own bartenders. “This place is delicious! I’ve been here a few times for appetizers, mainly the pretzel dish, but last night was my first time ordering from the main menu. We ordered the sausage platter. The Italian sausage was our favorite, followed by the elk. Honestly it was hard to pick because everything was so good. We’ll be back!“

“I wanted to take the time to tell you what a great experience we had last night! The service from the bartender and manager on shift last night was top notch! Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! The bartender made me a pickle martini after I expressed how much I loved pickles! Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! “Me and my girlfriend came out tonight (on a Saturday night) after waiting 30/45 min at a Applebees with no sign of seeing a table…walked in to be greeted right away by a hostess and was seated right away. Food was AMAZING staff was as friendly as they come greeting us as we walked in and telling us to have a good night on our way out. “I walked into Cowboy Jack’s fully expecting a record scratch and every head in the saloon to turn. Half thought someone would slide a whiskey down the bar and ask what trouble I was bringin’ to town.
The vibe is pure modern frontier. Loud, lively, boots-on-the-floor energy with enough TVs to make it clear this is where cowboys now settle disputes with fantasy football stats instead of six-shooters. Music’s bumpin’, drinks are flowin’, and the crowd feels like a mix of ranch hands, college kids, and folks who definitely say “one more round” at least twice.
Food hits like trail rations upgraded by civilization. Drinks come strong enough to make you believe you could win a bar fight or at least confidently explain how you almost bought land in Montana.
No tumbleweeds, no duels at high noon, but if the Old West had Wi-Fi, big screens, and cold beer on tap, this would be it. Saddle up. 🍻🐎“

“I want to send a massive thank you to the staff and management of Fargo Billiards & Gastropub ! They hosted us for Tim Green 60th Birthday party / Connor Hanson send off. Every single staff member was swamped as there were at least 100 people in there for pool league as well as our parties. NOT one of them complained and they were all busting butt to make our night so perfect! At the end of the night they comped the party room to honor Connor and our beloved soldiers. That kind of generosity and moral good is still out there folks! We will NEVER use anyone else for our parties and we are now going to make a point of frequent visits to our favorite place in Fargo! Thanks again to you all for coming out and thank you even bigger to the best staff of anywhere in Fargo!“

“Checked out this 'new to us' sports bar last night called Brewtus Brickhouse. My buddies and I were itching to try someplace different for a change of pace. From the minute we sauntered in, I got good vibes. Tons of TVs primed for the big game, ice cold suds on tap, and a killer '80s rock soundtrack - complete with the manager doing hamstring stretches and ripping air guitar before each song. The menu looked sick - loaded up on wings, and snagged a secret menu taco grinder pizza our server 'Sweet Tators' tipped us off to. Our waitress Boods was a real ace - laid back, knew her sports, and clearly a cat lover. She took solid care of our crew out on the patio. Overall, Brewtus is a top-notch spot! My boys agreed we found our go-to for knocking back cool ones 😎 🍺“

“They have live, local bands quite often. The atmosphere is very enjoyable if you can handle a little bit of a crowd and higher levels of noise. Staff is on top of things and quick to serve you . Outdoor patio for those who smoke . Had a great time while we visited. Crowd ranged from college aged students to older adults. The vibe is for everyone. They also have gaming along side the wonderful entertainment of live music!“
