“I'm in the hospital after contracting norovirus on 8/22/22 at this establishment simply due to an employee not washing their hands after a bowel movement and then making my cheeseburger. I was extremely ill from this and was told by the Dr taking care of me that if I hadn't sought medical attention when I did, my husband would have found me unconscious in septic shock. Symptoms included violent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, severe dehydration, and bad diarrhea! This has been one of the most miserable and painful illnesses I've endured and want people to be aware. WASH YOUR HANDS PEOPLE!!! Every single one of us were taught in elementary school the importance of good hand washing especially after going to the bathroom!!!“

“Wow Detroit Lakes Pizza Hut you are awesome! Our order arrived incorrectly but wasn't a big deal so I never let them know. After a few minutes a knock on door was friendly delivery driver with a remake. Not sure how they knew 1st pizza wasn't right but they went above and beyond to make an awesome experience. 😎“

“Everything is immaculate. People are immaculate. I know what this word means, I promise. Such silly staff and genuinely good food for a McDonalds. I don't go there often, but they do not disappoint when it comes to being the best. I don't like people but they make me rethink this statement. #TheGoat

“A soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a big smile from Annie at the til. She was so friendly, and just seemed happy to be at work. Food was hot and fresh, very fast service too. It was also nice to see the they are an equal opportunity employer. Pretty sure they had a handi capable gentleman, or he had tourettes, one of the two . He loved to blurt out loudly and sing along with the in house music at the top of his lungs while helping. Though he was out of tune, it made for a good time. I'll be back.“

“There food is exceptional for the price. Less than $20 you can get a very decent lunch.

I always get the extra freebies you can add to your sub and not once has the food disappointed, although I did have an issue with delivery once as it took over 3 hours to arrive. But the owner called me personally and gave me a complete refund AND an entire free order, not just a sub.

The actual location is meh, could definitely be more presentable but I'm sure there very busy and the food more than makes up for it.“

“The food is always great, the server was very nice, but usually when I go to Subway I politely asked if I can have the footlong wrapped in three sections because I might not eat it all at once. I know that's an extra thing to ask. It's usually because I will be on the road and eating at different times within a few hours.

I have to say the attendant was very nice but when I requested if she could cut my footlong in three sections and please wrap it in three separate wrappers, she said THE MANAGER does not allow them to do that and requires them to charge for separate sandwiches if that's the case.

Just my opinion, but I think that that is splitting hairs and an attempt to rip off the customer. Again, the young lady working there was very polite about it, but if that's the actual manager's policy, it is different than the rest of the subways I have gone to. It does make me extremely reluctant to go to this particular Subway in Detroit Lakes again.“
