“Very nice place with nice staff. We try to always choose places that are locally sourced and grass-fed if possible. A little pricey, but we expect that for quality local products. The only issue is the additional 3% added to EVERY order. Not just credit card orders, even cash. No explanation to that.“
“Love this place! The food was wonderful. We started off with the Tempura Fried Cauliflower. I loved the aioli sauce, and the whole dish was very tasty. We both ordered the Coconut Curry Rice Bowl with Chicken and it was sublime. I practically licked the bowl it was so good! We ordered a bottle of cabernet, which was decent but not great. Of course, after the first glass, it tasted just fine. :) For dessert we shared a very dense and very delicious piece of chocolate cake with whipped cream. So good! Definitely a place to come back to!Vegetarian options: Probably 75% of the menu appeared to be vegetarian or vegan. But everything we tried was delicious.Dietary restrictions: There were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, also dishes that were gluten free.Parking: It's in downtown Duluth so parking can be iffy depending on when you go.“
“We hosted an event here for roughly 60-70 people. Lilli was amazing to work with in planning the event, she made it seamless and very easy to get everything organized. The night of the event staff was all very helpful and friendly. Guests raved about the food quality and choices that were selected. I cannot recommend this team and venue enough!“
“My husband and I were at the Canal Park location for brunch today for the first time and will be back as the staff was easily able to adjust for my personal tastes ( I HATE eggs) as well as service being timely. The only complaint I have is that my iced tea tasted like coffee, what I like to call “cofftea”. Whomever is in charge of brewing the tea should not be running the hot water through the coffee maker as the oils from the coffee end up in the tea making the tea taste bad.“
“I am recommending Scenic, our food was very good, and great atmosphere…but I want to say we left w a hungry kiddo that was excited for his pizza, but the 12$ kids pizza was exactly a frozen Totinos gross pizza . Kids deserve good food too! Hope for better next time :)“
“Sue is always full of warmth and love ready to spark up conversation. Her Gyros taste like a true traditional fresh shaved gyro. Every can of soda pop is ice cold. Her little corner is always clean and buzzing with chatter. 9/10 times I will take my kids here after shopping for a coney dog, per THEIR request. It's just THAT good.“
“Visited the food truck with my two kids for the first time in Canal Park. Food was good but I was surprised to see an extra $8 added to my bill as a "service" fee. I am all about tipping, I actually put cash in the tip jar, but to spend $42 for not full meals for myself and two children was overpriced. Then after me spent the $24 on the lobster sandwich and was also taken back by the added 6ish dollars added for his one sandwhich. We will likely not return.“
“I haven been in tapa keg inn since 1988. My friend June J said she has been a customer here for a long time. The waitress Tiffany was very pleasant and I had the meatloaf sandwich and apple pie and raspberry tea. Very good thanks for great cooking. Shef . Ave to come back to try your liver meal.Enjoyed your friendly business.“
“Best specialty dessert I ever had. Can't remember the name it was a "special" it's not on the regular menu but it should be! It was a moist, sweet, delicious cake with fresh cream and berries. Oh my goodness could have been in a fancy French bakery it was the BEST! The food wasn't too shabby either! A little spendy yet well worth it for a special occasion! This is a very special place with great servers and awesome chefs!“
“We celebrated our anniversary at Pier B and had dinner reservations at Silo Restaurant planned in advance through open table. When I call the restaurant they were great to coordinate with and helped me with getting my (3rd party) flowers delivered to our table prior to our arrival, so that was tremendously appreciated and above and beyond IMO.Our server, whose name is Taylor was really wonderful. He did not rush us as you would find in or 'feel' from many other restaurants. He was humorous, very personable and had the perfect balance of 'checking-in' to see if we needed anything. He was able to help us with wine selection, menu advice and truly had the dessert connections under ownership. :) Also... just get the dessert, even if you have to take it home, the carrot cake was tremendous. Silo... you have the atmosphere down, the chef certainly did an exquisite job on the ribeye, mussels, and calamari, however... the folks like Taylor on the 'front-line' make the night memorable, meaningful and provide us as clients unique experiences to share with friends and family. Please extend our appreciation. Thanks for the great dinner!Parking: Shared parking with the hotel. There was plenty of free parking, even on a Friday night.“
“Fresh, local and friendly. The seasonal menu is always tasty! We had the “rotating roll”which was a savory biscuit with braised beef, pickled jalapeño and cheddar- absolutely delicious! The pork verde fry bread came in at a close second- to be clear, they were both neck and neck for flavor. Our server was an absolute delight and only added to our wonderful experience.“
