Another amazing meal to celebrate a friend’s birthday (Anne). Niki was our server and from the moment we arrived (90 minutes before our reservation time) we had excellent service and advice.
The wine was outstanding (and a bonus, it was Wednesday half price wine day). Split by 3 a bottle was ideal.
Anne had the smorgasbord which was a visual sensation and exploded with delicious flavors!

I am recommending Scenic, our food was very good, and great atmosphere…but I want to say we left w a hungry kiddo that was excited for his pizza, but the 12$ kids pizza was exactly a frozen Totinos gross pizza . Kids deserve good food too! Hope for better next time :)

New Scenic Café is a highly recommended spot on the North Shore for a scenic dinner with great views of Lake Superior. The Wild Game plate, Lamb chops, oysters, and quail dish are phenomenal. The pickled beets app, escargot, and deviled eggs are delightful starters. The lobster roll is a must-try, and the French Onion soup is a hit. The bakery goods are tasty, and the staff provide excellent recommendations and service, though some reviews mention that service can be a bit slow or forgetful at times. The view of the lake is pretty amazing, and the patio offers a nice scenery, enhanced by the fire pit that adds to the cozy atmosphere. Parking is ample, making it easy to visit. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions or a scenic dining experience, with dishes like the dates, cheese, and honey, seared duck with dumplings, and "the bear" chocolate cake being highly praised.
