“Ernie’s NEVER disappoints. Showed up around 2:00 PM on a Friday and they were hopping inside and out.

“The hotel is really nice. Sympathetic staff willing to help. A special shout out to the Recreation Manager that went above and beyond to assure the kids club could still run by the end of the summer. The hotel offers a good variety of activities. My suggestions for improvement: 1) although the rooms are very clean and well maintained, the age can’t be disguised… it desperately needs an update/ remodelling!! 2) game room is also very poor in offerings, 3) I think the guest experience can be upgraded with more offerings in activities, like Zumba or gym or any sports lessons available for guest.. I mean, the daily programming could be richer. Apart from that, restaurant prices are very expensive!!! Rooms could offer more structure for inside cooking (just more space, plates and silverware would already help).”

“My son treated me to Ippin Ramen Sushi in Baxter, MN as a Dinner treat. We ordered as recommended by my son the Sushi and Ramen and Green Tea Ice-cream! All of this was for my birthday celebration! I was totally surprised and impressed 100%! Our waitress who is a young lady was so warm and friendly as well as very gracious , the entire restaurant staff made our day there so welcoming and inviting! We plan on coming back to celebrate my son's birthday as well! I highly recommend entirely to all who want to experience Japanese food in a very delicious way! You will want to continue on coming back over and over again! Thank You, Lois D.”

“1st time visiting here, had omelet and wife had a breakfast as well. All great! Hash browns were actually brown and just the way I like them. Omelet had very good amount of ham et al. Shout out to waitress Lilli, very attentive, helpful and a very pleasant personality! Though we live elsewhere, our experience was very good! if opportunity arises, will return”

“Pizza is amazing. Plain and simple, crispy crust, delicious ingredients. Quality is incredible. Customer service is always on point. My son left his very special and important Minecraft sheep stuffed animal there. He was very upset. The staff watched over the stuffed animal until my folks were able to pick it up on their way back through town. Made his day, and week, and mine. Thank you. Support this business and skip the garbage low quality pizza and treat yourself to something you won’t regret. These people and their food is special!!!”

“Was looking for a quick place to catch a beer and some "bar food' after a day on the lake, so we stopped in. Turns out we were wrong, this place served cold beer from a long menu, had the most courteous staff (were more than happy to deal with food allergies, with a smile) and then served us food that should have been in a top tier restaurant. To say the least we were more than happy and will always come back when in the area.”

“We stopped at the Spot yesterday and enjoyed the delicious ice cream and nostalgic candy selections! We enjoyed our ice cream outside and the children enjoyed running around and playing on the swing set! We smelled the delicious burgers too and cannot wait to go back and try the yummy food. I used to get the refresher style drinks but they are no longer on the menu and wasn’t sure what to get, but Jamie was very helpful and polite, she recommended me a drink and it was very good. I got great service, and the other barista made my drink very fast and was also very polite. Great drinks and service :)”
