Asked for a side of mayo. They gave me a Mayo packet, like a ketchup packet you get from fast food. They charged me $.75, for one packet!

Huntin Shack Tavern is a great little dive bar along highway 210 west of brainerd. Everything always great. The food is solid and the drinks are done right. Burgers & wings are best in area, the pot roast pizza is great, and Tuesday night burger special is amazing. The food came out relatively quickly. The service started out fine. The atmosphere is not cozy at all, with randomly placed tables, hardly any decoration, but tvs. Never really busy, but kinda like a cheers, where everybody knows your name. Not much in area but perfect location for locals, commuters, tourist, & trail riders. The food and the service and the atmosphere was just exactly what some families were looking for. It’s definitely improved since it was Steve's club. Everyone had a great time and they were very accommodating for groups. Sad they are selling but hopeful the new owners keep a bar/restaurant. All in all it was an alright place to grab a bite to eat.
