The food is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed but elegant, I've never had anything but an incredible time here.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegeterian options throughout the menu.Dietary restrictions: Hyacinth is an alergy aware resturant and is willing to midify dishes to accomodate all dietary restrictions.Parking: There is no parking lot, and Hyacinth is located on a busy stretch of grand ave where street parking is hard to come by. Plan to walk at least a block.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no automatic doors, and there is no accessible parking on the block. Tight seating makes it difficult for wheelchair users to navigate through the resturant.“

“Really really loved this place. The sleek interior with massive windows give such awesome natural light and add to the atmosphere of the restaurant. But the menu was amazing. I had the mock-tail Gazoz, filled with light and fresh herbs and decorated with flowers. Out table had the avocado toast (where seriously the bread was the best centerpiece) and also had the Greek salad. Presentation, atmosphere and great ingredients make this such a fresh experience.“

“The food was so good that I didn’t even get the chance to take a photo of it! I had the saj shawarma sandwich, which tasted like an authentic Lebanese chicken shawarma wrap. The garlic was as strong as I liked, and the fries were delicious. I think it’s the best fries I’ve had so far! They have this unique double crunch and the perfect level of saltiness. For desserts, I had their Palestinian knefe, and it was perfect, but it must be shared with another person (quite a generous portion). I highly recommend this place!“

“I got the family dinner for two and honestly it was so much food and could probably be good for 2-4 people depending on your appetite! I was surprised by the portion size and it was very generous. I liked that I got to try a little bit of everything. The flavors were as expected, but not anything mind-blowing. The hummus and baba ganoush was tasty. For the value and quality, it's pretty solid and hits the Mediterranean craving. I also got the baklava and kinafa, and those were good ? Their spicy red sauce was also tasty.“

“I got the Kofte platter and it did not disappoint. A little drier than I'd like but the food was flavorful and smelled fantastic during the drive home (I got takeout). You can see the kitchen from the cashier counter and its pretty cool to see your food being prepared in front of you. Prices were reasonable.Plenty of parking outside. The interior is modestly decorated. Gives off a 90s vibe. I would come back to try other items on the menu.“
“I ordered online late at night and when I arrived, they’d had to close early, but told me to come back the next day and they would honor my order. I’m so glad I did! They provided me with the falafel wrap and mango smoothie I ordered (both fresh and delicious) and also gave me an order of hummus for the inconvenience I experienced. “We enjoyed every part of our dining experience at Momento last night. The employees are welcoming, knowledgeable and oozing with pride and excitement. We thoroughly enjoyed trying foods we've never had before and felt well informed by our server Kevin. We ordered three shareable plates: Meze, Brussels sprouts and peas & toast. We even left with a recommendation for breakfast in the morning. The colorful decor, including many plants and fresh herbs complimented the experience perfectly. We tried to tell everyone we met that night to come try it out as we might not make the 5 hour trip back for some time.“

The veg was fresh, bun perfect and toasted, chicken was thick and cooked in clean oil. The fries were probably top 3 fries I've ever had in my life, they definitely know what they are doing. “I visited spicy feta for the first time today and I had an amazing experience. Although I was only taking-out, I had an opportunity to talk and look over the menu with an employee, explaining what each item was and what it had on it. I never eaten here before so I didn’t know what to expect, but both the people I talked to were extremely helpful. I ended up getting the Naughty Greek wrap with a side of fries. It was almost a Mediterranean burrito style wrap, the chicken, Shawarma was super juicy and flavorful, and it paired well with the veggies,feta, and Taziki. The only thing I didn’t like about my wrap is I asked for no olives and there was olives, however it was still delicious. The fries are light and airy, but super crispy and seasoned perfectly with a savory salty spice blend. One of the people I talk to let me sample out their lemonades, and help me decide which one I wanted. They were very patient and helpful and I will returning back soon.“

The meat was perfect and the sauce was the best I have ever had. Love the market too, great selection. And everyone was so nice, they were baking when we came in and it smelled so good. “Had no idea what the place was. Expected a bacon n eggs diner. It’s an East African joint and quite good. The owner (Ah Fork? Is how he pronounced it) was a good dude. Got a chicken wrap sandwich thing. Super good. With fries it was $10!! I’ll be back.“

From offering all your Persian grocery supplies and brands, to sweets, teas, cheeses, and spices, the store opens up to its restaurant half. Family welcomes you in and the menu offers warm soups and breads, to full service grilled kebabs grilled on site. Friendly service, clean, and they own what seems to be the largest parking lot on University of Minnesota to easily park on site.“
“This place blew me away. I had a lamb chapati wrap and I LOVED it! I'm from one of those snobby coastal cities where we like to think we have the best food choices, but this place is better than anything I've had for lunch at home. Very friendly service as well. The only minor suggestion would be that they should improve their ventilation system. The place is more of a grab and go than a sit down so this may not bother folks who don't sit down to eat here. Check it out!“

“Our go to place! Very friendly and convenient. Their bakery area always has the freshest items. For example Iraqi bread/samoon, meat, cheese, and zaatar pies. You need to try their Iraqi heavy whipped cream (gamar) which is always fresh on the shelf! We recommend this place 100%!“

“The food was great, it was my first time coming here so I wasn't really sure what to order. You get plenty of food for the price, so well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. There is a nice seating area on the side, which was perfect for a work lunch outing. My coworker did mention that usually the line is pretty long, but we got here around 1:30pm and it wasn't too bad!“
“I wasn’t planning to go here as I was driving on Central Avenue near Fridley. I was actually going to one of my favorite Korean restaurants about half a mile up. As I was driving, I a saw a big tent and a crowd of people. So I flipped around and wanted to check this place out. Looks like they were celebrating Ramadan. I’m glad I saw this place because the food was delicious ?The lamb, beef kabobs, kofta, fresh tabouli and hummus were amazing. There were a lot of other food that I don’t know the names but were equally yummy. It was crazy busy but I think it was because of the celebration they were having.“
“This place was waaaay better than any fast food spot in the neighborhood! I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and that came with a can of soda. While the meat seemed to be REAL BEEF, and the French Fries had a really good powder all over them, the soda was generic and gave me a stomach ache. Also I do have to say that if you ain't got at least $10 don't even go in here (unless you only want some French fries!) It's not as affordable as any fast food, but like I said the food is made of better quality ingredients as far as I could tell. The guys working here were really friendly, and I could tell that the majority of their customers are from the neighborhood! Oh yeah, one thing I hate is when a place don't have no napkins, but it's even x10 worse if they ain't got no hand towels in the bathroom, and these guys failed both those tests, so I could only give them 4 stars, and to be 100% honest with you, it was a bit grimey in the eating area and bathroom, the maid must have been off duty that day. But HEY, don't let that stop you from placing your order, support a local spot, and have a happy New Year! Please give this honest review a thumbs up if it was helpful. That way, I know if people are reading them! Enjoy your food, and please stay strong, North Minneapolis 2024 will be a year of many changes in the world. “Dino’s Gyros in Falcon Heights is a great and fast Mediterranean restaurant. That all being said, the Woodbury location lets you pick and choose from the menu a little more than the one in Falcon Heights. Still, it’s a great spot to come back to again and “
