Nice BBQ spot tucked inside the VFW - it's not a standalone shop or food truck or anything. Service was good despite being very busy for bar bingo. Food came out fast and was tasty - the ribs were tender and smoky, and the pulled pork was very flavorful as well. As a certified KCBS BBQ judge, I am always wanting to try new places. Today it was Chad's brisket at the Grand Rapids VFW. Overall: pretty good!The meat was sliced properly across the grain. It is amazing how few people seem to know this is important. Flavor was good, though the meat could have benefited from just a little more fat (= flavor.) Chad .. thanks for taking of us cyclists from the campground! We chose the ribs and Mac cheese and wow were they good! If You like Q then you need to check out Chads meat wagon! The folks in GR are lucky!
