“I have went to this place twice and already a favorite. The service is great. You are able to try two flavors I tried the mango strawberry sorbet the first time I went and that was the one . Absolutely loved it . The second time I went which was yesterday I had the ube vanilla and it was also great. You have the choice between a waffle cone or three different size cups which was nice.
I always do a cone. The seating area instead and out is beautiful. The outside though looks like a fairy house lol . Very whimsical. Overall this is a great stop in south Minneapolis. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.“

“I had tried posting this review 2/22/2023, but not sure what I did wrong for it to not be public.

Short review- The staff are always friendly. All 9 flavors I’ve had so far have been delicious and I can’t wait to keep bringing friends to try Snowbing for their first time!
FYI: If you get Snowbing and Cruncheese at the same time you’ll need to pay from two separate registers. They’re right next to each other, so it’s no hassle!

TLDR-
I was so excited for Minnesota’s one and only Korean bingsu place to open! For those who don’t know, bingsu (빙수) is a milk based shaved ice dessert. Many people might have ice shavers to make their own, but it hits different when it’s made with the milk base.
Even though I live about 30 minutes away I’ve been almost 10 times. Snowbing has 10 flavors: Traditional Red Bean, injeolmi, strawberry, green tea red bean, chocolate, oreo, mango, watermelon, yogurt berry, and strawberry cheesecake. Checkout the photos included!

Flavors: The last time I went I finally tried the chocolate one, which I had been holding out on because I was worried it’d be overpoweringly sweet. It wasn’t! I would order it again in a heartbeat. I’ve gone with friends who’ve been worried about trying the yogurt berry because they didn’t want more dairy with the yogurt, but the yogurt is (in my opinion) mainly just drizzled on top for looks. We didn’t think it was too yogurty and really loved this bingsu because of the 3 fruits in it. I have yet to try the strawberry cheesecake before I’ve had them all, but can’t wait to check it off my list.

Pro tip: Eat the bingsu first, theeen get your cruncheese. If you eat the cruncheese first, there won’t be enough space for you to enjoy the bingsu! When I went my first time I was with 3 other friends. We got our own cruncheese then shared 2 different bingsus. I can eat my own bingsu bowl by myself as long as I eat that before any other food.

“Phish Food: This flavor was born in 1997 and is named after a Vermont improvisational rock group. A portion of the royalties from the flavor goes toward environmental efforts in Vermont’s Lake Champlain Watershed, which is great since our current government leadership doesn't seem to care about the environment. The pint’s description is chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. When I first began digging through my pint I did not see much of the marshmallow swirls. After mining my way through the frozen treat, I finally found a fair amount. The chocolate ice cream is rich and is complemented nicely by a school of fudgy fish that have a flavor edging closer to dark chocolate. Chocolate lovers should be happily satisfied with this one. It’s almost like a double chocolate fudge ice cream because there’s so much chocolate ice cream & fudge fish as compared to the marshmallow and caramel. Speaking of caramel, the caramel swirls do take the flavor up a notch, but they could be more abundant. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors and the combination with the chocolate and fudge reminds me of a frozen candy bar. The marshmallow swirl has a sweet/cream-like flavor. It is not simply marshmallow flavored ice cream, but texturally it is something resembling actual marshmallows, like fluff, and I love it! I wish there was more caramel & marshmallow, but overall I’m impressed. Doughboy approved 😋

I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. “Culver's is fast food. Its not like McDonald's. Whats different is they do have different salads to choose from I think 3 kinds. They serve chili and other soups. Sometimes chicken noodle . They have chicken strips kids meals with a free scoop of ice cream. They have grilled cheese sandwiches. They have pretzel bites and onion rings They have custard icecream chocolate or vanilla. And different sundae dishes. My sons enjoys eating at Culver's. And my adult son with autism likes me to get his meals there. When he works at dollar tree as being a cashier thier. And works long hours on Sunday. I usually run there to get him and his boss lunch. And his co workers jump in with the boss and my son. So then I had a big food order to pick up for all the workers at dollar tree and they enjoyed having thier lunch break. Its Quick to get a meal if you order on line. Its reasonable price. It can cost alot if you order alot of food and getting drinks or shakes and custard Icecream. But if you feel like it's too much for your budget. The value meals cost more. But as a parent. I would order the kids meal for myself to save money. The food is good. But I wouldn't eat it everyday. Because then you would get tired of the same foods. But the service is good. Plenty of parking.
