“Truly exceptional service, food, beverages - EVERYTHING. Sushi was the freshest and most delicious in town, and we have tried everywhere. Pisco drinks and sake flights were spectacular.You must come here, we will absolutely be back. I rarely take the time to leave a Google review but this place deserves all the attention. “Small space, when we went in we were lucky enough to find a table and didn't have to stand and wait.Service was fast but felt a little rushed. My sushi was delicious, however, my husband didn't like his hibachi combo too much. The soft-shell crab was good but I went without the katsu sauceThis location only has paid street parking and a parking garage that is free on weekends. Other than that I would recommend it, because sushi is their speciality and you can taste it in the quality.“

“They have the best ingredients you can choose from to create what you love. The portions are large so plan on being super hungry or share with another! Online ordering, you must pick out 3 proteins which is awesome. We spent about $30 for 2 bowls. Can't wait to try something else there....I'll be back!!“

“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I made a reservation, and my party of 2 was seated immediately and had a great waitstaff. We had sake, o-toro Bluefin sashimi, the Silly Billy roll (pictured and favorite), and a supreme combo. Everything was delicious and inspired me to return again to try more of their amazing creations!“

With your classic sushi place feel, service that's polite and simple, this is a great place to get some good food. “My friends and I stumbled into this restaurant when Up Down was too packed to enjoy. It happened to be my birthday weekend so I was open to trying something new. I absolutely loved our waiter. He wasn't pushy, had a sake bomb with us, was super nice and funny, and introduced me to the Peach Cosmopolitan. YUMMY! The food was delicious and the dessert was exceptional! Will definitely be back for more!The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because when we first walked in, I told them how many people (3), and no one said anything to me. No, "it'll be a few minutes but please have a seat" or even mentioning the fact that there were people waiting ahead of us. We stood awkwardly in front of them but eventually moved to the side when we realized we wouldn't be seated right away. We almost walked out after waiting 10 minutes but were called to be seated as we were about to Google another spot.“

“Shige-san was fantastic! It was such an amazing experience. Each dish was nicely explained, what it was, consisted of and where it came from. Little facts that we didn't even know. It was such a joy to converse and learn about Shige-san and his passion. The atmosphere was phenomenal and felt so traditional. The Blue-fin Tuna was exceptional along with the Wagyu. Sitting at the Chefs table is a must-do experience that everyone has to try. Getting to know these chefs and their passion is something you'll never forget! Thank you for making my husband's birthday one he will remember! We will be back!“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch and the ramen was surprisingly good. I ordered the pork belly and the entire bowl was overall impressive. I think the predominant flavor was dashi/seaweed, however the pork belly was very flavorful. The noodles came out of a package and the soft boiled egg could have used some seasoning (soy bath), but overall I honestly can't complain. The price was about as low as it gets and the service was fairly quick. The entire bowl along with a separate container of broth was nicely packaged up for transport. Overall I'm giving this place a high score simply because they are one of the only ramen lunch options accessible by skyway and the price was super low. $12 for a bowl of near legit ramen is impressive. Go for it!“

“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and expressed authentic Japanese flavors and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed the staff set up her table setting to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kaiseki Furukawa provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“

“Had the pleasure of being introduced to this place several years ago. Although I live a distance away, this is my preferred sushi joint. The variety of food is great, even enjoy some off menu items, and it’s been consistent every time. Quality of the fish is solid and the sashimi cuts are thick.I appreciate the healthy selection of sake and Japanese whiskeys. I was recently dining at a well known sushi restaurant in Los Angeles area, where I’ve been before, and it left me disappointed when compared to getting a regular “Fix”.I’ve come to really enjoy the staff and their dynamic makes it entertaining every time. “This is in a mini strip with plenty of parking space. Stopped in for a quick lunch date with a friend and kids around noonish, maybe 1pm. I'll just say, we did absolutely no research before coming. Their lunch hour is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Upon arrival we were informed the last time to order is 2:15. Service was great, making sure we get in as much as we could for AYCE. Ordered a little bit of everything. The kids really enjoyed the hibachi dishes that includes fried rice or noodles and choice of protein. The yum yum sauce that comes with was light with hint of yogurt (might be wrong in this ingredient since I didn't asked). If you love Takoyaki, these are probably one of the best ones I've had. I also really enjoy the Cha Soba, it's a chilled green tea noodle with sauce and green onions. First timer embarrassing story* about the Cha Soba. It came out in a soba bamboo tray and having no knowledge of this dish - I shamelessly poured the sauce over the soba, thinking there was a bottom . Anywho, love the soba and our waiter was extremely kind to help clean the mess I created. So, dip the soba in the sauce, don't pour, ok? Also had the crunch roll, fire island roll and spicy girl roll. My favorite was the spicy girl roll, it's a spicy tuna and yellowtail mixed. Literally, it melts with every bite. I forgot to take photos but will definitely get some in when I crave sushi again. Currently my favorite ACYE sushi.“

“When I was craving sushi the other night and didn't feel like going out in the cold, this new takeout & delivery only restaurant popped up so I decided to try it. And I'm so glad that I did! The sushi arrived quickly and was super fresh. I got 2 spicy hamachi rolls, 2 spicy tuna rolls, and a miso soup. The soup was good but nothing to rave over, and rolls exceeded my expectations. They were fresh, tasty, and a good size. I even packed some for lunch the next day (still tasted great as leftovers) and the rice stayed soft too! Would definitely recommend for an at-home sushi night.“

“The food has been consistently excellent at Bagu. I have taken many friends and they all say the food is very good. It is better than almost all the Sushi restaurants we have in the Twin Cities. Quality of the fish and portion sizes are also substantial. Its almost the only Sushi restaurant we go to. You will not be disappointed.“
