“There are very few restaurants that I really want eat at regularly, but Mississippi Pub is one of those. The consistency of the menu is part of that… I know that the wings will be crispy and hot. I know that the brunch items will be savory and plentiful. But the atmosphere is the other. This is NOT fast food! Come to enjoy a cocktail (or an excellent mocktail), the view of the river, and leisurely enjoy the experience. If you’re in a hurry, I’m sure there’s a fast food restaurant you can choose instead 😂“

Tried Charley Cat Chicken for the first time and it definitely hit the spot. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned well. Portions were fair, service was quick, and the place had a chill vibe. Nothing overly fancy — just solid, good food done right. Would come back again for sure.“

“We went to the cities to see Evanescence on the 20th of September and had layover time for the concert to start so my husband and I walked from the venue to Little Brazil. Unfortunately, we got absolutely drenched walking back to the show. Not only that, but we forgot our precious signed posters from the band at our table . The staff saved our posters and kept them safe until we made it back to get them the next day which we truly appreciated. They would have been destroyed by the weather otherwise. We were SO enamored with this gem of a place, it was WORTH the soaked clothes, chattering teeth and watching the rest of the concert soaked through! There is definitely something for everyone whether it be coffee, dessert, sandwiches. They also have a market of imported goods to try like chocolate, candies, snacks etc. Now whenever we are near the cities, it's going to be a must stop! 💖“

We got a total of 8-9 dishes; savory baked mac & cheese, smash burger, corn bread etc. The warm greeting from the owner, Scott Cochran, along with the attentive staff was top notch! “Cute, cozy neighborhood staple in a trendy, busy part of Saint Paul. They have an expansive breakfast menu with lots of sweet and savory options, and their drink menu is impressive as well! I tried the ube matcha iced latte, which was delicious, sweet, and smooth. Additionally (not pictured) I got their seasonal pumpkin smoothie which was sweet, nourishing, and had interesting fresh ingredients (sweetened with fresh dates!) Their lemon ricotta pancakes are huge, served with a generous amount of lemon curd and impeccably fresh blueberries. The texture is great: soft but not underdone, fluffy without being too heavy. We came at a busy time, so while drinks came out quickly, the food was a tad slow. All in all, though, I'd love to come back and try more menu options!“

“Fantastic coffee, incredible apple fritters. Staff were kind and attentive. They have a large coffee roasting oven behind the counter, so the entire place smells heavenly. Only one bathroom though, so don’t drink your coffee too quick.

I also really like that you can pick your own options for the beer and wine flights. A LOT of kids, however once the sun goes down and the families clear out, the vibe is a lot more chill. Great spot to meet up with friends and hang out for a bit. Tons of outdoor space I'll be sure to check out next time.“
