“Today my son was at the Culver’s in Onalaska, WI by the high school for lunch. He had no money and had called to try to get money sent to his phone so he could eat with his friends. I called the store to see if I could pay for his food over the phone. The lady who answered explained that she couldn’t take payment over the phone but she would pay for his meal. I said I would pay her back and she said don’t worry about it. She met him by the ice cream cooler and paid for his meal. She was so kind and didn’t even think twice. For someone who probably had a lot more to worry about - like the 60+ kids in her lobby waiting for food, she stopped and used her own money to help my son out. Incredible! I didn’t quite catch her name so will be going in on Friday to see if I can find her to thank her! Incredible person!“

“I visited your drive-thru today, although I have enjoyed dining in at this location before. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and the food is wonderful for fast food—always hot and fresh. I highly recommend the fish dinner; it is delicious, just like a standard restaurant, but without the hefty price tag! Also, you can enjoy it here or take it home—where else can you do that? The variety of side dishes is also excellent, offering more than just standard fries. I would also suggest trying the chocolate malt; it is delightful. “We met the down to earth owners of Twin Bluffs in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere heading home from a week in Sturgis. They suggested we hop off the highway the next day as we continued our journey east through Minnesota and try their food. We met outside by their friendly bartender who welcomed us into this spacious, neighborhood style bar. We ordered cheese curds, a Philly cheesecake sandwich with fries and a fish sandwich with fries. The food was outstanding! Hot and was only a short wait. This out of the way place is a true gem. If you find your way around Winona Minnesota, swing on in for the best bar food I’ve had in a long while!“

“Very relaxing, everyone so friendly and food was fabulous! We stayed at The Radisson to see the Rotary Lights. After, we went back, freshened up and went downstairs for dinner, very convenient. We asked to be by the windows with a view the lights while we ate but no seats were available and our table was set at a different location, waiting for us to finish our drinks. The gentleman that seated us, moved our table to a window seat that had just opened up without even asking before we went in. We were very impressed that he did this and it made our meal that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend. This is our 4th year going there for the lights and we would do it any other way! Enjoy!!!“
