“By far one of my favorite breweries in the Twin Cities!! The staff is amazing. They have a great variety of food trucks. Comfortable taproom alongside a great patio (the patio gets covered with an event tent and heaters in the colder months). Great free bingo and trivia having great prizes. And of course the beer is amazing. I strongly suggest trying the Ben's Minnesota Martini olive beer.“
“Met up with some family here tonight. First time coming here and we were impressed! It is a nice space in a cute downtown area. They have a fun and varying selection of brews. We also happened to show up during trivia mafia and stuck around till the end (didn’t win, but was an absolute hoot)This was the first brewery where the server went around for tables to check how everyone was doing which was very appreciated!Very cool that they allow dogs inside. Might have to bring our pup here someday!“
“A true microbrewery feeling! Both times I’ve been here I’ve had a nice conversation with the owner, who is super personable and passionate about community. It’s also so cool to taste a beer one month, then come back the next month and see how they’ve adjusted the flavor. Plus, they’ve added arcade games, what could be better?“
“Steel Toe is a stalwart of Minneapolis… erm, St. Louis Park, beer scene. Taproom has expanded over the years, including outdoor space (though no heaters or fire pits from what I could tell). Only qualm was the taproom/drinking area felt a little sterile, which I know is common for breweries in formerly industrial areas.Was kind of surprised to see they had 3 barleywines on tap - that’s a lot of variety for a pretty rare style!“
“The beer can be hit or miss in my experience, for the cost especially if can be disappointing... Usually it's at least decent but have had a few beers that have made me just want a macro instead. Happy to have them here though, what a location and bike friendliness is so appreciated. Always worth supporting.“
“We have had great experiences at Elm Creek. They make a classic sour called “Rare Candy.” They dabble I. Other beers as well but were one of the first breweries to do sours consistently and well.The tasting room is nice and has plenty of room inside and out.“
