“This was my second visit to Buca in Maple Grove. It was amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Special Thank You to Cheyenne, he was amazing his drinks were fabulous, ask him for some of his specials, he did an amazing alcohol free apple drink, that had all 8 of us at the table very happy. He also took time to take us on a tour of the entire facility. This is a beautiful place, it has so much character. We will be back again.“

“We've been here plenty of times but lately, it seems something is different about this location. Food was a bit too salty and the zuppa toscana just doesn't taste the same. It was a bit odd for the server guy to touch my 9 year old daughter's head/hair too. Or even more odd that he asked if she would like a plastic cup for her drink. Plus, he was a bit too loud. It was kind of rude to just assume she's too young to handle a glass cup. She's 9! Our server didn't understand when I asked for broccoli on all of our Alfredo entrees too. So when we received our entrees, the server would usually ask if you'd like cheese. He just started putting cheese on everything and when I told him to stop or that it's enough, he still kept giving more and more. Language barrier? Usually, in the past, in my experience, if you had leftovers, they'd offer to help pack it in the boxes too for you. Such great service before but with our most recent visit, he just asked us how many boxes, and handed us a bag, and gave us the however many boxes we asked for. Maybe things have changed 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Oh! Wanted to share this. This one time we dined in. Sat down. Got our drinks. We went to the bathroom, came back to our table, and everything was cleared off! That was so odd. So we all had to reorder our drinks again. 🤷🏻‍♀️ LOL“

“December 12 I went in for the very first time. I have to say, I love the service and the food. I ordered chicken fettuccine with cheesy bread with an extra side of sauce. The young gentleman was polite and got my food as I requested. Thank you so much for the amazing delicious dinner! I will be back“

“The heavenly, truffle-topped risotto, white pizza, and the polenta fries made for a decadent dinner I won’t soon forget. The mulled wine aperol spritz and martini were standout, and perfect accompaniments too. Josefina absolutely delivered on the fine dining experience I was expecting; with its knowledgable staff, cozy atmosphere, and attention to every detail from start to finish, you can’t go wrong. I can’t wait for another occasion to try more of their menu here.“

“What a lovely location! We sat at a large round table in a little alcove which made for just the best atmosphere for our group. Our server, Ella, was so so helpful and friendly. Even while she had other tables she was also taking care of, she was continually checking in and offering refills on drinks and sides.
We also had a gluten allergic member of our group, and the manager Andrea came over to let us know exactly how that dish would be handled and the measures taken to keep it safe from contamination. I haven't experienced this at other restaurants before and was so pleasantly surprised by their initiative on that front, especially being a restaurant known almost exclusively for pasta and bread.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would be happy to return and to recommend this location to others.“

“My wife had been there before and liked it. Brought two more couples this time and they all liked the food. Spaghetti was a big hit as was the alfredo. I did the cheese no meat totaling and it was great“

“My husband and I were up visiting family and we stopped here for dinner. They were great! Super easy ordering as well! We were able to get a high chair for our little and they brought it out to use. We sat outside and it was very lovely. Enough space for everyone! Our pastas were very yummy and quite filling! My husband also got ice cream and he really liked it! We definitely would go again!

For so many years as Punch grew up, I was so fortunate to be living in all the right places that had so frequent access to Punch that it became normal... until we moved out of state. from my extensive travels to far away, exotic lands like Italy and Chicago in search for the best they have only been able to make mediocre versions of what you find here in a small, unassuming shop in the busseling metropolis of Wayzata .
