I grabbed take out and everything was great. I ordered the chocolate wontons, Szechuan wontons, wonton noodle soup, chicken with black bean sauce and lo mein, and shrimp fried rice. The portions are huge and everything was fresh and flavorful.
Though the weather outside was bitter cold, inside Rainbow Chinese is a garden of delight. Chef/Owner Tammy Wong’s Rainbow Chinese is a gift to Minneapolis, a must-experience destination. My noodle soup sparkled with the brightest herbs and vegetables, I’m convinced there’s no fatter egg roll on the planet and the shrimp w/walnuts and cream is absolutely dreamy.I met a friend there this evening to both celebrate her birthday and mourn the recent passing of her beloved Grandmother....read full review
