Starbucks in Minneapolis

“This Starbucks is one of the first places I checked out when I moved to SLP …great location corner of Excelsior and Grand Way~ I do not have everyone’s names here and some may have been summer help and not there currently.. but they have all been helpful and ready to serve.. Libby had wonderful customer service and remembers my name and what I order. Other ?staff~ Bailey, Nyah, Anya, Alicia, Georgia, Shania, Gwen, Kat, and Megan. The openness and seating inside with big windows as well as back room for meetings is ideal for work on laptop.. outside seating very nice and comfortable as well!“

“I love this location! The manager here is super sweet and great at her job. Zoe, Navi, and Javi are fantastic. Even when they're busy, the employees at this location are great at getting things out quickly. I hope they can get more hours though, since they're definitely understaffed a lot during the summer.“

“the perfect starbucks if you get the right workers. there is one girl who is the cashier sometimes and she is super lazy, rude and very short when talking. but the place is great ! almost all of the workers make the drinks well. parking SUCKS though.“

“This is my favorite location out of all the Starbucks I been too. I'm there everyday , the workers are amazing, same with the manager cole. They go above and beyond , I seen them work during the busy hours and they do a great job making sure every customer is happy / satisfied leaving with their orders. Also witness how they deal with customer who are rude and all the workers never once had any hate or attitude towards the customer, always remained with a smile / positive attitude. I love this location !!! Lastly they always get my order right , other locations never make it how I like it but they always do here !“

“Inside the Marquette hotel, it is very busy, so there is a looooooooong wait even though you used the app to order ahead. I used the app to order 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. The food was ready rather rapidly, and then we waited 13 minutes as we watched people that had ordered specialty coffees leave before us. When we questioned the batista she had a major attitude and responded "you have to be patient". 13 minutes for 2 cups of regular coffee that was already brewed. Skip this joint and go one block to the one in target where they have no attitude. This place is closed on Sundays.“

“I live in saint Paul and I travel to this specific Starbucks probably like 4 times a week. This is the best starbucks for me . I absolutely love the customer Service I receive here. The workers are so sweet, caring, personable and just all around heart warming. Everytime I walk our of there I feel a millions times better. Thank you for being so kind everytime I come in. It truly makes my day.“

“I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews for this location! I’ve never had anything but fantastic service. Everyone working here is friendly, kind, and makes delicious drinks. They’re fast and get you what you ordered right away. Sometimes I’ve had to wait if there’s a big line or a lot of online orders coming in, but…they’re humans! They aren’t coffee making robots! Overall this location is peaceful, fast, and I prefer to go here every time. Much better than the other Starbucks on Hennepin, that one is always busy with a cramped parking lot and it takes forever to get your order. 10/10 love this spot!“

“I am very pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service, despite being a very busy location. They know me by name and they always have a smile. My go to drink here is the Nitro Cold Brew with a little bit of sweet cream. Shout out to Sean and Eric for being great managers. They have a great attitude and make my daily (sometimes more than daily) coffee habit one of the best parts of my day“

“I don't typically leave reviews, but I had take the time to do this for my favorite Starbucks crew. For the past 7 years, I've been a loyal customer. What makes me come back are the employees and their exceptional customer service. Not only do they know me by my name, but they know exactly what I like to drink. They make it right every single time.
Recently, I had experienced loss of a family member. I shared this with the crew, and their empathy was heartwarming. They helped me through the toughest time just by being there for me.

“I did the drive through not in store. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service at this location! The line moved so quickly and the drive through employee taking our order was incredibly personable, professional and efficient. We got a brunch order (hot items) with drinks for 3 people. And it was quicker than getting a few things at McDonald's. The food was perfectly warmed and fresh tasting and the drinks were exactly as desired. Definitely a good location with productive employees.“

“I love the seasonal drinks…but I never know how to order them “less sweet” without over explaining myself. They made the best Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew I’ve ever tasted. On my way out, I thanked them for taking the time…and the barista said “absolutely…you are worth it!” This is the kind of customer connection that can carry over into someone’s entire day. My whole attitude toward this dreary Saturday has been turned around. This location isn’t anywhere near where I generally venture to…but I’ll be back. ☺️“

“This is a busy little store. The staff is okay not what I'm use to in my city. The are super fast even as busy as they were. The store only has two employees so it's hard for them to clean the areas up and help customers which should be their number one focus. However Starbucks one more person could really help thg them out this early at 9:00 a.m. a clean store looks more appealing to us who support you.“

“Every other worker at this Starbucks is so kind except one unfortunately. There’s a barista that’s always weirdly defensive, I believe his name is Andrew. I’ve ordered a latte 2 times when he was on shift, the first time he made the latte and it was super watery so I asked if I could have it remade politely. He said something along the lines of “I did the correct shots of espresso”?? I understand we all make mistakes but come on? I just looked at him and said could I please have it made again lol then he did make it but he seemed pretty irritated like he was gonna snap… the second time was actually yesterday. I asked for a side of ice with a latte after he gave me my drink and he said “next time ask at the register”🤨 in a condescending tone, I’ve never in my life been told that by any barista from Starbucks. If it was a rush, I totally understand, but there was not many people in the coffee shop. I will say the coffee he made this time was amazing though, kudos to him. Not the worst person, but just super weird attitude“

“I mean, what can you say about a Starbucks the hasn't already been said about a McDonald's? It's a corporate, consistent experience. If you want your money going to some far away corporate board, drink here. Otherwise go to a locally owned coffee house.“

“Parking: There’s a small little strip mall I guess is what you would call it with three other shops in it and then Starbucks is at the end of the parking lot. So there’s limited parking for the Starbucks if the shops are busy. You pull in the same parking lot to go through the drive-through, so if the drive-through is busy, it can take you a minute to get into a parking spot.“

“I am a frequent customer, almost every Friday morning after I drop my son off at school I swing by Target and grab a coffee while I do some shopping... I want to give a shout out to Wei and say he's doing a great job! Wei was working diligently making everybody's coffee this morning and anouncing the drinks with confidence all while correcting and informing his associate of Starbucks standards. She failed to wear her name tag so I can't mention her name. She didn't greet me at the counter as if i was a person, she was looking around waiting for me to talk, I didn't order until she actually looked me in the eye. I heard her say while preparing my drink "well, this is easier" and Wei replied with professionalism "you Have to do it the same way". Anyways, thank you Wei for working hard like most of your associates I see on my Friday morning Target/Starbucks runs. I appreciate you.“
