A neighborhood diner for the Somali community, serving up tasty food in generous portions. This was my first time dining here. Ordered 2 entrees for breakfast; scrambled eggs for breakfast and a full order of fava beans. Both orders were accompanied by injera, a soft, fried flat bread, and small sides of yogurt and tamarind sauce for dipping. Portions were very large. We ordered the somosas, goat, chicken steak, and chicken suqaar. The goat was tender and cooked to perfection and the flavors of both chicken dishes were delicious. The mango lassi and tea with milk was perfect with the meal. It was my first time trying somali food and definitely not my last.

First time here and I was not disappointed. Even with the language barrier, the employees got me my order and the portions were huge and tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was very nice too! Everyone was just relaxing or doing their own thing. Would definitely recommend!
