“I had the tako yaki and the sashimi variety platter with a tuna roll and everything was soooooo good! Definitely would recommend to anybody who likes sushi. Just beware because everything had a nugget of Wasabi in it. I love wasabi but if you're not expecting it, it can hit you and their wasabi is pretty potent. The waitress/bartender is super nice and we chatted for a bit about the strongest man competition on the screen and shared some laughs, she's very nice. 5/5, will definitely come again.“

“Vegetarians - The vegetarian apps were tasty. The Ramen can be made with vegetarian broth / stock (tell the server in advance!). The vegetarian noodles were pretty lackluster, dry and limited in flavor. The staff / owners are very friendly. The bubble tea was delicious. Overall a good stop in the area for a nice hang!“

“I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. This food woke all of my senses for spring. I’ll be back.“

“Busy Saturday, but the place had no line, so I decided to check it out. The servers were friendly and were even willing to let me try the food. Honestly tasted just as good or even better than Panda, which had a long line. Food was well seasoned and flavorful, and the portion size was great! “Hajime is our go-to restaurant in Blaine. We almost always go during happy hour with our kids (age 11). We order solely sushi from the happy hour menu for 4 people along with the Spicy Kani Salad and we usually spend about $100-$125 which generally includes a round or two of happy hour drinks. The service is always great, they usually know exactly what we want when we get there! Recommend for sushi or their hibachi menu - their fried rice and yum yum sauce is delicious!“

“As a Japanese person who is born and raised in Japan, this restaurant is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Minnesota. Since I started to live in Minnesota, I had struggled to find good Japanese restaurants that satisfy my tongue. However, this restaurant really changed my life in Minnesota. The food, service, atmosphere, everything is amazing and perfect here. The price is really affordable for broke international students like me. Location is also very good.
I deeply appreciate this restaurant. Without Kinzo udon, I couldn’t survive in Minnesota.“

“The restaurant was super clean, good fresh ingredients. The menu could use more details on ingredients and photos. The cashier wasn’t overly friendly when we had questions. We had differing opinions on the robot delivering the food.

“Went to all you can eat sushi with a friend on a Monday night a little after the dinner rush hour, was pretty quiet. Very nice, clean, spacious space. I thought the all you could eat sushi was a phenomenal deal. They had a wide array of food available to order, however the restaurant does not order tamago, which is one of my favorites. Sushi came out quick, waitress was attentive. Hot foods were hot and fresh as well. Dumplings were not the best I’ve ever had but they were good, it might have been the sauce that was super flavorful.“
