“The phone was okay. I had much higher expectations from what I have heard. I definitely would not go out of my way to go back. However I would give it a 5 out of 10 for their pho definitely not the best I've had and definitely not the worst.“

“This restaurant has the BEST lunch specials in the Twin Cities! Don't be fooled by the price; the portions are huge and the food is delicious. I have only ever gotten delivery, but each time my food has arrived hot and fresh. Definitely my new go-to spot when I'm craving Vietnamese comfort food.“

“Visiting from Kansas, I always enjoy stopping at Duc's for their outstanding fried rice. I have lived in four states and never experienced that distinctive taste. It is unique and awesome. Quick and quality service as well. I highly recommend!“

“I've been going here (well actually began eating at the original location next door) for over 25 years! It is my very favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the world! So sad to see it close! We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The family has always been so kind. Mai Village you will be greatly missed!“

“Their thai boat for me wasn't good they tasted like package noodles. What was great and probably the best in MN to me is their raw larb. They use real pepper, not dry pepper, not chili flakes, real authentic cayenne pepper. 1 out of 5 places I've been to will use real pepper and not just that, they put mint leaves and lemon grass also. A lot of places just throw in cilantro and green onion, maybe red onion TOO. Their lao papaya is good, full of flavor and spice if you ask for it. I would say 4.5/5 overall as my main interest was their thai boat which wasn't for me. Service was great too.“

“Wonderful Experience at Ai Hues Bakery & Deli Next to Basil Cafe
I recently visited Ai Hues Bakery & Deli, located right next to Basil Cafe on University Avenue near Dale Street in St. Paul, and I was truly impressed. When I walked in, the place looked so nice, clean, and comforting-it immediately made me feel welcome. William was at the register and greeted me warmly, which added to the great first impression.
I highly recommend trying their Chrysanthemum Tea-a beautifully refreshing drink with a delicate floral sweetness that’s both soothing and delicious. It pairs perfectly with their food offerings. The congee (rice soup) I tried was the best I have ever had-rich, flavorful, and comforting in every spoonful.
I also bought three different steamed buns-savory pork, sweet taro, and another delicious variety-and they looked fantastic. I’m excited to try them soon!
The friendly service, combined with the high-quality food and cozy atmosphere, makes Ai Hues Bakery & Deli a must-visit spot. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick snack or a light meal, this place delivers an authentic and delightful experience. I can’t wait to return and try more!“
