“My husband & I loved this pub! We saw Sam perform on the piano and he was amazing! He plays the last Friday of the month. Any age would enjoy the piano night, even young kids! The mozzarella sticks were so delicious! We loved the local beer choices & they even had my favorite cider "Ace pear". The service was great! We can't wait to come back!“

“The patio could be the location for Lord of the Flies! I enjoyed the Onion Rings appetizer and Fish & Fries. The food was good but I had to cover the food with napkins because there were so many flies. I asked a server to turn up the ceiling fans to blow them away and was told that was the highest speed available. I guess that was the easiest answer because the fan was barely moving. They can do much better.“

For me, two of those places were Just Brew It in Union Grove, Wisconsin, and the North Star Bar in Rochester, Minnesota. At Just Brew It, after only a couple of visits, the staff began greeting me by name every time I walked through the door. “Pappy's is an old school restaurant and even includes a salad bar. The food is tasty and satisfying. It's a comfortable place to eat. I started my meal with a Tom and Jerry and from the first sip I was hooked! Delicious! Hubby and I shared a French Dip sandwich with onion rings. The beef was a little bit dry but the au jus helped with that. The roll it was on was perfect. The onion rings were outstanding! We love Pappy's!“

“We ordered take out for 7 people and they gave us one bag of chips for 7 and forgot a order when we went to pick up the forgotten order they barely said a word no sorry for the inconvenience or attempt to refund anything. They charge a fee for pick up orders. I will not recommend them or order from there again.“
