“I'm old enough to remember TB being a respectable fast food eatery. Some of the old menu items were even crave-worthy--the Rancho Steak Burrito of the 1990s being the high point in my opinion. Nowadays the taco meat is a little strange in texture/taste/color, they no longer have shredded chicken, the apple empanada is gone, and their overall quality is declined over the years. But it is a quick fix for Texmex cravings and their prices are still fairly reasonable. This location was pretty solid pre-covid with good management. It's been remodeled with a new layout and kiosks for ordering which is fine since it didn't have the greatest interior before anyways. I've usually ordered delivery since the pandemic started but I've gone in a couple times recently to pick up or dine in and it wasn't too bad when the food is fresh and not sitting in some Dasher's car for 20 minutes first. The folks working the line in back are very nice and do care about the food they are putting out. If only the company would improve the overall food quality but I'm not holding out hope for that ever happening.“
“I love Taco Bell, but I didn't have anything specific to add before. Just today though, I had the most outstanding service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant.I parked and sent in a mobile drive-through order. They couldn't find my order, and the cashier was so sweet and helped me figure out I sent it to the wrong location. He let me know I could cancel the order and do a new one. I looped around and parked to fix the order. As I was working on it, he came all the way outside to make sure I figured everything out. I did, thanked him, and I went through again to get my order. The nacho fries were the crispiest they've ever been, the cheese sauce was hot and delicious, and my entire order was made to perfection.This is my favorite location in the cities, and this man was, by far, my favorite employee.“
