“Whoever was working by themselves on the morning of 05/12/2025 at 11:30am is the reason for this 5 star review. He was so excited to make my pizza which was his first order of the day. He was so friendly and literally the best pizza man I have ever encountered. I could tell he enjoyed making this pizza by the quality of how it was put together and how good it tasted. I have never had a Papa John’s pizza taste this good before. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to love and enjoy doing whatever they’re doing, no matter the task, to make a profound difference.“

“As usual, Lola does not disappoint. We were a party of 4 with a 7 PM reservation. We arrived grossly early (25 minutes) and could not be seated because the restaurant was so busy on a Monday evening! Service, as usual, was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent across the board. We especially liked the seasonal starter, caccio a pepe sweet corn. We had the Calabrian cauliflower, the kale salad and three pizza shared among 4 of us. We left with the inner smile, indicating food made with love and joy, that identifies a five star experience. Since Anna Kim has closed her other restaurants we hope that Lola will keep going. It keeps the standard for pizza in the Twin Cities high and delicious.“

Loved the casual atmosphere outdoors with some shade to sit—you can’t dine in essentially as all seating is outdoors which myself and coworkers appreciated .A nice lunch break from the typical work environment. “This was our first experience at Tono and we were pleasantly surprise:) the large Caesar salad was enough for 3 of us and we had some left over still. The cheesecake was as big as my head, definitely going to have leftovers. The truffle fries were tasty and the pizza was pretty good too. The Spicy Tono and the regular pepperoni pizza look pretty much the same but the taste was the tell. The spicy is less spicy than you’d expect. The price wasn’t too bad either. Our family of 4 ate for around $80 bucks. The volume inside the restaurant was rather loud and busy… it was during peak hours soooo they get a pass on that“

“Very cool spot! Had great reviews so stopped in for dinner with the family. We had the cheesy bread with marinara which was good. We also ordered the grilled vegetables appetizer that we enjoyed.

Then my wife and daughter ordered a pizza with tomatoes, feta cheese, harissa and fennel sausage which they really enjoyed. My son is a basic pizza kid so we split a pepperoni pizza which we also enjoyed. We all liked the coal fired approach which reminded us of some of the places we enjoyed when we lived in CT (New Haven).

Service is going to get its own section here in the write up because it was exceptional! We had an Asian guy (apologies I can't recall his name) who took care of us who was fantastic! Positive attitude, super upbeat and friendly. Very helpful with menu suggestions and beer suggestions as well. Very attentive, refills were timely, never had any long stretches where he disappeared (and they were PACKED). Really stayed on top of everything and provided a great experience overall.
