McAlister's Deli is described as one of Rochester’s best, with great food and super clean locations. Staff members are called 12/10, kind, friendly, welcoming, and top-notch, going above and beyond. The tea is worth remembering. One guest left wallet and keys once and wished they had cash to leave a reward. Another guest returned after a little over a decade and ordered grilled chicken on a croissant and red beans and rice. The croissant brought nostalgia, while the red beans and rice brought them back in a whole other way. Despite being a pick up order, the food was plated well, and the containers keep the food well. Another guest was hesitant to place an online order based on reviews about timeliness but had a better experience: the order was ready on time and everything was delicious. The McAlister’s Club with a side of country potato soup and a half spud was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and super filling. However, one guest said food is great but ordered 3 times and ALL 3 times something was missing, a common issue that definitely needs some work with management.
