“Very nice people with excellent service. Super friendly. I had the blue cheese bacon burger and it was OUTSTANDING. Best burger I've had in awhile. And the tator tots were deliciously crispy. My wife loved her smothered chicken saying it was wonderful, as well as gluten free. Parking was just fine at lunch time. We'll be back as this was a fantastic lunch.“

“This place is heart-warming. I had been wanting to check it out for some time as I pass through this area a lot. It is situated in a rural stretch of road in Maple Plain/Independence near the Luce Line walking trail, giving it an almost isolated and greater Minnesota country feel. That carries into the atmosphere of the place when you walk in. I agree with other reviews that it feels almost like a throwback to earlier simpler times. It may seem to some like a diner or a dive bar, but everyone there was relaxed and enjoying themselves.The menu is impressive. You would not expect so much variety. You can get basic all-American foods like burgers, or you can try pretty rare things like frog legs, or they also serve prime rib. The range is wide, which is surprising to consider how they are both capable and supplied to do that. Prices are quite reasonable, too. Meals go from as low as $8 up to $30.In short, we were not feeling too adventurous, so we simply had a Northwoods Burger, a Ceasar Salad, and shared a slice of warmed Pecan Pie. “Met a couple of ladies from my church for supper. The customer service was friendly, courteous and he was smiling. My chicken tenders and fries were hot/crispy. Dining area was clean. The server who brought us our food was nice, friendly. The overall experience was pleasant and would recommend dining there. Keep up the good work!!“

“Pretty fun, its a smaller place so when it gets busy it can be crowded. Never had an issue with service. Was in their 1 time it was so busy there was only 1 place to sit. “My dog wanted me to write a review that she’s very dissatisfied with her pup cup experience—we go to the Buffalo Culver’s occasionally and their pup cups are a small vanilla custard scoop in a cup with a dog treat on top. She said the whipped cream was top notch, though.“

The onion rings were good though. Definitely would go back. The rootbeer from the fountain is delicious. I'm not sure how you make rootbeer, but they say it's made fresh daily. “So I’m giving this only 4 stars cause last year we went and some dude toke are order and it was my grandma cousins and brother and me 5 people and we w ordering and he was very rude. food was really good but he was not. And when my brother was ordering he was not taking too long at all. Then the cashier was yelling at him and my cousins. I was not happy about that. And he was mad at my grandma just cause she does not have bad hearing and was asking to repeat what you said. like if you’re going to be treating my family and others like that you need to go. Everything else was good food 10/10. They did have air conditioning which was helpful food was at a reasonable price. I would go again but next time please be kind to others who are paying for your food because some people could be having a bad day or good day and just being rude can mess up someone’s day. But when I went back this year it was the same guy this time it was my Sibling and my grandma and me. “Went threw the drive threw and we got a couple blizzards. The coworker came to the window and flipped the cup over to show us how thick the drink is and my son screamed because he thought she was dumping it out. ? it was so funny we all started laughing“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“I was out with some girls I hadn't hung out with in 11 years or more, and we will most definitely be back. As far as accessibility goes, it wasn't the best, but it was far from the worst. There were spots of thick, bumpy ice in the parking lot, no automatic openers on the doors, and the entrance was quite crowded. However, the tables were spaced so that I could sit comfortably and the person sitting at the table behind me wasn't crowded. The food, though. ? I haven't had "Crapplebee's" in dang near 10 years because it was always mediocre at best. My "irresisti-bowl" was delicious! My friends got three cheese chicken penne, four cheese mac and cheese with some sort of delicious looking chicken, and a quesadilla burger. They were all quite satisfied with their food. Despite their poor accessibility in the parking lot and entrance, I will be taking my family there sometime!“
