“A long time favorite local coffee shop. Have been going for many years. LQBTQA safe space and gay female owned. Welcoming to everyone and a place that feels like home. Friendly staff. Delicious baked goods. The food and some of the coffee drinks are not as consistent and as good as they used to be, but still better than a lot of coffee shops. I miss the old staff; I feel like after they remodeled at one point all of the long loved staff I was used to seeing left but people move on I guess. Still a lovely and friendly staff”

“Best and most unique ice cream shop in town, although I don't discriminate when it comes to ice cream and will eat it from almost anywhere-- Mom and Pop's is my favorite if I can make it there! I can (and have) go multiple times a week and not get sick of it. Also, the servers are always nice and just cool people.”

The service is great, the atmosphere is inviting and they've recently done some interior renovations that make the place more updated and inviting. The food is fantastic whether you are just stoppjng by for tacoa during lunch or if you want enchiladas for dinner. Mazatlan will always be my go to when I am in mankato!”

“Another absolutely amazingly delicious meal! They out do themselves every time we come. Just a true treasure that I hope is there for a very long time. Enjoyed a couple Guinness along with muscles, pan seared tuna and the corned beef and cabbage. Everything was just wonderful!”

If you are looking for a great way to end your meal that is not overly sweet, definitely try out the Baklava. The owner Ahmed and his staff are friendly and helpful. I have asked a bunch of questions and they have always been really accommodating, knowledgeable and patient. Thankful there is a restaurant that serves food from another part of the world with high quality and service in Mankato. Check it out!”

“Really good local place to go to! We live 5 minutes away and it's cool we can drink and walk home. The burgers are really good, and they have a good selection of alcohol. The pool table is awesome to play, and you can pay a jukebox to have your music play! Definitely would come back again with family from out of town”

“This place is a hidden gem in Mankato. It's a lunch spot, however, they do serve breakfast and have some good looking cinnamon rolls. Check the Facebook site for a photo and description of the daily special and if nothing else, try the club sandwich. I believe all the soups are home made and never disappoint.”

“My daughter and I went there for the first time, and we were blown away with everything from the beautiful decorations on the inside to the very friendly customer service and the easy to follow touchscreen kiosk. Everybody should check it out ! They got tea and donuts that taste like cereal It’s pretty wild. Will definitely be coming back.”

“My fiance is Puerto Rican so I've eaten a lot of Hispanic food over the last few years. El Gordo was some of the best that I've had ever. My fiance was equally impressed. The food is needless to say, so worth it. It's reasonably priced and good portions as well. The juice however, is the best part of the meal. The pineapple could be sweeter according to my fiance - but the watermelon tastes like pure watermelon and is mouth watering. The staff working were friendly and kind. We will be back!”

“Potbelly consistently has fresh, hot, and tasty food. The malts are delicious. I can recommend the banana malt. If you're in a hurry I recommend the drive-through as it clearly has top priority. There has been long waits in the past but it has gotten better.It's VERY cold inside, consistently.”

Don't visit this winery very often, but enjoyed every visit. Staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly. Wine selection is exceptional, prices are decent. Would stack up this winery against nearly any Napa one ?”
