“I was having a really rough day and needed somewhere to crash for a few hours. I'm not from Mankato and found the Coffee Hag reviews. Boy, did it hit. Great coffee, GF cookie and most important (to me) a fantastic atmosphere. There was a warm, welcoming feeling when I walked in and it didn't change over the next few hours. I can't wait until I'm back in Mankato so I can pay another visit!”

“Came here with my husband tonight and had the best time. Started with the Reuben rolls....great! I had the mahi mahi and he had the fish and chips. Both meals were wonderful. Our waitress, Hailey, was awesome. She made the best recommendations and had a very pleasant attitude. The ambiance was perfect. we will be back again!”

“No waiting for seats. Msle server was not very attentive. While waiting for food, another female Server tripped and fell due to slippery floor. It was quickly wiped up but not mopped so floor might still be slippery. Everyone walked very carefully in that area. Towards the end of the meal, Server could not be found so another Server brought the bill.”

“I’m not picky as I am hungry. This place does well serving a goods despite being a vendor. The build your own taco is definitely a hit and the Horchata & agua frescas option is a good one to take note. Muy Delicioso y fantastico”

“The first time we went, ambiance and food was great. Server needed to loosen up and smile and pretend she loved her job. She finally did toward the end of the meal.
The second time we went, we had a very nice male server, but then my lasagna had a hair in it. They took it back and some other employee brought me another one. No apology from management. Table next to us asked for a pitcher of some alcoholic drink, but was told they could only serve by the glass. So they were discounted for the drinks due to inconvenience. What the heck?!”

“I love this place. Not fancy, but nice servers and good food. Tiny place, have patience if it's busy. (Is busy for a reason!) Atmosphere is bar and grill. Excellent burgers/fries. I think a step above others. Reasonable prices. I had my first southwest chicken salad and would definitely order it again.”

“We enjoy going in for a Bloody Mary on a Saturday or Sunday. We have highly recommended that they get better Appetizers , what they call Sharables but they haven't. They took the pretzel off the menu and they shoyld not have. They don't have any deep fried mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower. So if you are wanting appetizers then I dont recommend going there. Their juicy Lucy's are very good and so is there French dip. They have a chicken bourbon salad that is amazing. We have only sat a table once and thr service was not as good as at the bar. its fun to watch people play pickle ball. its nice that they have popcorn to snack on. They don't play the music loud, which is something we really like.”

“Beautifully made & amazing tasting cakes every time! Tony is great at what he does and offers the best customer service. Highly recommend. Our family favorites are the white cakes, confetti cakes, and our recent first experience with the peanut butter explosion. YUM 😋😋”
