Domino's Pizza in Saint Paul

“Never thought as an old guy dominos could be this good as past experiences from years ago were not great
My kids have ordered from the north St. Paul store for some time and at times I indulge
Have never had a bad meal food is hot and tasty order after order

“I've always had a good experience with Domino's on Smith Avenue. In saint paul. However, this last time, the portions were smaller than what I expected. Other than that, the service was good. I was very clean store. I was very disappointed with the portion for the chicken alfredo pasta. Not what I am accustomed to.“

I was hoping to have a great Friday night and enjoy some pizza. I love Domino’s and I’ve been a long-time customer, but tonight was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

First, I placed an order through the app. No sweat. I do it all the time. I got a notification saying my order was complete, so I check outside my door and no order was there. I give it some time because maybe the driver is still on their way.

About 20 minutes go by and still no pizza. So I call the store (this store, this location) and explain “hey, the app says my order was delivered and it’s not here. Unsure what’s going on, just wanted to check in. No sweat if the driver is still driving.”

A man first tells me “yeah, the driver tried calling you and said you didn’t answer.” (They need to buzz in to be let into the apartment.)

“I didn’t receive any calls. Where is my pizza?”

“It’s here. You’ll have to come get it.”

“I paid for delivery and I tipped the driver. Can you deliver again please?”

He hands the phone to a woman who refused to give me her name. She then tells me that the driver did call me and I didn’t answer, so basically tough luck.

I told her I received zero calls. And she told me I couldn’t prove it, to which I said I could just screenshot my calls and show you. She told me “yeah, you can delete calls.” Basically saying I’m lying and telling me tough luck, come get your order.

At this point, I had a crying baby in the background and I wasn’t gonna keep arguing because this woman was borderline yelling at me for THE STORE’S OWN ERROR, so I told her to cancel my order and refund me. Absolutely terrible customer service. I did NOT receive a call and I should not have to pay for delivery and tip the driver and then go pick up my own food!

Never ordering from here again.

P.S. I ordered from Papa John’s instead and not only did I receive my pizza, it tasted DELICIOUS. ✌🏻😎“

“I had a little trouble figuring out which location my order was through and accidentally kept calling the wrong store, but Ophelia was SO nice and patient with me! She went out of her way to help me figure everything out and was genuinely friendly the entire time. Great customer service from her — definitely appreciated! ❤“

“I only use the walk up and wait service at this Domino's. The service is always friendly and patient. My pizza comes out fast the way I ordered it and it is a treat for me to get my pizza here. The staff works so hard and still shares smiles with their customers.“

“Pierce Butler Dominos is my go to when we get pizza. It is near by so we normally do take out. Recently we had it delivered and my comments stand true.

Food has always looked and tasted good. Never any issues with take out or delivery.

Service, every time we've gone in they are busy like no other, but they always take time to smile and help us out. Delivery guys (the few times we do delivery) are great and timely. Only once was it delayed based on their notifications. But we are talking 10 minutes late and I got a text letting me know. Not an issue.

We don't usually do fast food but this dominos is legit.

Gluten Free - This is one of the best gluten free pizza that doesn't cost me an arm and leg to order! and it taste good!“

“I placed an order very close to closing time. My order came quicker than expected & the food was amazing! I had to call them once I realized my contact phone number was old, they said they were almost going to cancel the order because it came in so close to closing time, with cash payment and no valid number.. I just knew my food wasn't going to come, but sure enough 12 minutes later & they were at my door. Thank You to the staff at the St. Paul/lowertown location...“
